SPN 1548 FMI 5. HVAC Duct Temperature - Current below normal or open circuit.
Ok, so I kept getting that error in my 2016 Freightliner Cascadia sometimes, but often enough to drive me crazy. As 'ChuckMcnugget' suggested (Thanks Bud!) that I need to replace the temp sensors in HVAC box behind the dash. So I stopped at a dealer and got those sensors. Because I could not find any info online on this problem, I put up a little video to show you where are they located, since it took me a minute to find them. Fairly easy to replace. Just pull it out, unplug, plug the new one in and insert back. So far so good - no more errors. Keep the rubber side down and keep on trucking!

@@boundndetermined225 I didn't really notice any symptoms. Just the engine light comes up on a dash showing that code. And you know - every time it pops up in there - it's like "what a f... Is wrong with you now?". And yes - it did fix my problem, at least that problem - no more code.
