    Taras nice video. I'm more of a maul or wedge and sledge guy. But that last one with the maul bouncing and the slide hammer actually splitting the round was pretty convincing.

    If you get stuck just use the slide hammer in the opposite way to yank it up and out.

    One easy improvement they could make is to put a simple brake on the shaft with the lever at the end of one of the handles. That would make repositioning easier.

    a that’s why you build muscle lol and the one he is using is the medium one, the heavy one he mentioned would certainly prove a challenge, but again it would build muscle.

    There is a nylon washer as a shock and noise reduction, but rubber, as said above reduces the effectness of the hammer.

    You can use a bigger tire instead of a chain which you would put on top of a bigger round as your base. A splitting spike and a sledgehammer will do the same to start those 20” rounds then a splitting maul works fine and is satisfyingly fun

    ByeHai I go thru three loads of logs most winters! I saw the logs and spit them on a hydraulic log splitter. Much easier 😉
