I put an 8 way hydraulic wedge on that splitter, it did an awesome job. I designed the wedge like the eastonmade so it would lock in place, it was a monster producer for sure.

@@SKFirewood I have a few vids on that splitter, one of the hydraulic wedge workings and one just making the 8 way. Not perfect but you can get the general idea of how to do it. The conversion was actually fairly simple, it could be done with a grinder, drill, welder and basic hand tools.

Did your log lift just blow a hose? Also Are these still around the 3k GBP price range?

No hose split and i believe they are up around 4k now

Where is your eye protection???? It only takes one tiny tiny piece of wood to take out an eye. 😢😢

Its an MDL meggasplit 37t, i believe its the same as the usa ruggedmade
