Whether it being the second or third episode, Splashdown serves to expand the player further outwards in velocity. This time, they will enter the docks borough. The player will be introduced to two new tracks who are close in proximity to each other, Port Bridge and Ferry Wharf.
The main star of the episode is the introduction to a new game mode called Air Strike, where the player must dodge a multitude of rockets and reach a set score from other rivals in the show.
