Plz differentiate granuloma and gamna gandy bodies

It can be challenging to differentiate between Granuloma and Gamna Gandy bodies. However, there are some distinguishing features: granulomas tend to be larger in size whereas gamna gandy bodies are smaller. On doppler, increased vascularity due to inflammation may be seen in case of granuloma, whereas no vascularity is seen in case of Gamna gandy bodies. Also, clinical history can be helpful in differentiating. Granuloma may be caused by infections or autoimmune diseases whereas the causes of Gamna Gandy bodies include portal hypertension, sickle cell anemia, splenic vein thrombosis or other hemolytic disorders.
