I think I know why. Remember why the squid sisters didn't announced it was agent 3 who saved the Great Zapfish on the Inkopolis news (even with Inkopolis Square), it's because they wanted to keep it a secret so that it doesn't attract too much attention. Capt. Cuttlefish said if it did attract a lot of attention, it would've get the city to get into a big panic. I think ya should understand the rest of what I'm 'bout to say. And that's why Agent 8 can't get free stuffs 'cause she saved the city from Tartar.

As far as anyone's likely aware in-verse, Off The Hook did the work. They're the ones who sent an entire helicopter fleet to take it down(probably a holdover from the full adventure we didn't get, from the artbook). Marina's bombs, Pearl's Killer Wail. The role of a single Octoling? Gone. Lost in the crowd.

0:55 love how marina has to pull pearl away from the food stand. She did it so seamlessly too, which makes me think that this probably wasn’t the first time she had to do so. Also side note: 1:11 LOOK AT THEIR EYES OH MY GOD

The animation is fantastic, as everyone has pointed out, but what impresses me even more are the voices! I'm amazed at how you were able to get the tone just right with the limited voice clips we have of the characters!

I like how there was no annoying moral/ethical lesson at the end when she stole it. Idk why but I love having my expectations destroyed and being completely wrong. Nice animation!

Must of the inklings are obsessed with trends they young inklings mostly seem to just want to enjoy life carefree doing whatver is the most fresh thing at the time. I feel as if the adult inklings may be more grounded in reality Capatin cuttlefish was. I feel as if he was ignored because he is an old veteran the adults in the society are sacrcly seen. We only really see pop stars as for whoevere is driving the cars around the cuty or taking the train is left up to specaultion. The jellyfish might be the ones in charge while the inklings are merly their pawns that are being kept in control with fashion and turf war to keep their hostile competive nature in bay. Your Splatoon animations are so smooth! And they don’t have a stupid storyline like most Splatoon animations

"Veemo!" sounds like "Bingo!" thats a kewl detail 11/10

When the Pearlie is angy..she takes out her Princess Cannon.....seems about right...
