When I first tried this weapon, I thought it sucked because it was too slow to do anything and can barely move around the map. After learning that it can penetrate bosses including flyfish, I realized that I sucked.

Being able to one-shot difficult bosses places this in the top tier for me. The same tier I put the grizzco slosher and grizzco charger. Also explosher too. It doesn’t even do that badly against everything else. The only exception is if you can’t get in

Yeah, when I don't know it's power, I thought it sucks, after I know what it can do, I almost soloed a Cohozuna. Like I got I think 90% of it's health before a small fry smack me! And my team finished the last 10%. The thing is, you can get too cocky with it and suddenly find yourself being surrounded by Small Fries...

I feel like that's the case with all heavy grizzco weapons. They always seem shit at first bc they're so slow and ink hungry but then you see a KZread video and realise they kick ass

I can’t say it enough, for glowflies in Marooners bay, stay just to the right of the basket. That forces the salmonids to bottleneck as they approach the right side grate. You get a nice choke point that way making the wave super easy.

you can one shot grillers but you have to have a full charge and aim at it's armour, it pierces through steelhead armour as well

I once had a team that was 3/4 grizzco splatanas and then we died to the bombhead boss bcs we had no range, not realizing we could just attack it :)

If you hold forward you will lunge, so you only want to do that if you are at a distance from the boss. If the boss is right in front of you don't lunge Also you still have to aim

It’s probably the best grizzco weapon. Other than the dashing being stupidly sensitive and throwing you into a death trap with the slightest touch of your stick it’s amazing. It’s slow and not too mobile but its damage is insane. If I can learn how to use it I’ll do great.

I was lucky enough to end up in the lobby area with a Grizzco Splatana after a shift during this rotation so I got to see just how much damage a fully charged swing does Still can't believe it's set at a whopping *999* points, if not above the capped value

i preferred the grizzco stinger honestly but thats probably because i prefer playing as a backline support rather than being up in somebody’s face 24/7

I managed to get the Grizzco Splatana all 3 founds until Cohozuna where I finally lost it.

Really wasn't feeling this weapon at first. And then I found out from others on what this thing does. Holy crap, it's frickin' broken!

Whenever I have the audacity to play salmon run, the game has the audacity to give me the worst weapons to use every time. Like chargers or splatlings. I hate using them. Their movement is sluggish, slow af to charge, not enough shots given how long you have to charge them for...They just feel f-cking awful to use. I'm inexperienced using them I know, and that's a lot of the frustration, but I hate being so painfully slow.
