Funny cuz it’s true then again most C Plus Sz team members are absolutely useless and your an Soda Slosher player which is me and you have to basically do everything even tho you’re not the best At Ranked either. Then also when you use an Scoped E-liter what can’t paint zones you teammates absolutely ignore the fact your an E-liter.

Great Video! I definitely feel like there are a good amount of solo X Rank Players who don't understand like, the most basic rules and strategies of each mode. Maybe it's lack of experience or too much tunnel vision

In my experience, S+ players seem to work better with their teammates, idk wether it’s just the players in X trying to 1v4 or not

In ranked, I'm either the one that carries the team (and still loses) or the one that absolutely gets bodied. So, I can sympathize with you and your team members lol.

Wadsm dude THANK YOU for posting this. Freaking hilarious, and VERY relatable. Having played competitive soccer/futbal for pretty much my entire life, when I see someone totally abandon their assignment, it can be infuriating… but it’s only because we love the game so much :-D

This reminds me of when I first reached S rank. It was fun for while it lasted and I stayed in S for a decent time for a first run, but eventually I dropped back into A+. Okay, well, that was pretty expected, right? No biggie. I'll just push through A+, probably faster this time, and get back into S, right? WRONG. What happened next in A+ was I was in MULTPLE matches where we were absolutely dominating the game, and my team would get really close to getting a knockout win, but we just barely didn't get it. Okay, that's fine, we still have a big lead, right? Wellll...in most of those matches it seems some of my team would just simply stop trying after getting such a huge lead, allowing the other team to push and either get a surprise knockout last minute or win in overtime. I'd check the map and would find a couple of my teammates, after getting our initial massive lead, suddenly in completely different areas of the map not really trying to secure objective at all, seeming to not be paying attention to what was happening, to the point where it was often just me solo-ing the rest of the match (and I play support so only so much I can realistically do single-handed against 4 opponents on objective) or maybe with one other teammate trying, and the whole time I was thinking "Guys!! Just because we have a massive lead doesn't mean the match is basically over yet! Stop letting our guard down! Pay attention to what's actually happening right now! I can't take them all down by myself!" That kind of stuff where people would just stop trying after getting lead happened a fair amount in like B- rank or something, but I had never seen it happen that much in the A ranks before. I had enough consecutive losses that should have been easy wins exactly like that in that single day that I ended up dropping even further down out of A+ to A shortly afterward, as I didn't even reach the OK line before those losses. I just kinda stopped playing for a while after that, that was so frustrating and disheartening.

is a really bad habit from S+ players coming to X rank. I still have this habit; and I lose many games because of it. Now I try to be more strategic BUT if I get pressured by rivals, I tend to just grab the rainmaker. Yeah, I am the reason we lose games.

I feel the pain and this is the reason why I don't even try to reach top 500 anymore. At least if my power is high enough after the calculting.

... This is why I'm waiting for those in the Splatoon competitive players to stop stockpiling their inability to do anything remotely effectively onto the very few who make turnarounds since it's so STRESSFUL

This is part of why I haven't played splatoon 2 in ages.

Would be nice if ranked battles had a team option too. Join as two or four and you actually know what you’re doing.

Bro ranked battles are so hard😭 like you can be killed in seconds 😭 teammates feel like their not really helping while your getting jumped by the entire other side. At least you can always count on your teammates to do what not to do🥲

I'll never make it to rank X. I actually did once but it quickly ended. And I'm like, my teammate don't deserve to be punished by my presence in X to be honest 😂 I'm average S+5 but somedays I absolutely kill it. Others it's just a complete disaster and I play like a C- lol I would die to know the cause of such difference depending on the days (or weeks sometimes lol). Maybe I'm not that a good player and some weeks or days or hours of the day, some better players allow me to win. Some others these good players are in the other team and destroy me haha.

Yesterday i finally reach x rank in splatzones !!!

Solo q is just ridiculous.

A wise Man once said stop playing SoloQ to protect your Mental health. For real tho I would recommend to play Quad or Twin to make this Game more fun. Even if you get a high XP you should ask yourself, was it even worth to torture yourself like that😅.
