I remember Splatoon 1, where the N-ZAP was an inkbrush, a sniper and a splattershot at the same time, but everytime I tried to use it it was useless... I'm starting to think I was just bad, but that doesn't justify getting killed by it when I was clearly outside of its range.

Great Vid Astro! I'm curious to see what you do next. I'll add a little footnote to the list of abilities for N-Zap (85 in particular). 1 sub of Bomb Defense prevents Armor from being broken by Bomb, Missle, and weak Ink Jet indirects.

This gave me a good laugh, I main the N-Zap series, I primarily used the 89 in the first game, that's the orange one but I'm sure you were kidding on that. I love the kit for it in the first game, sprinkler & inkstrike, I hope that whenever it returns in the third, it will have sprinkler & triple inkstrike. I use all three in the second but I don't use the 83 as often, I like the kit for the 83 but I do like autobombs so I tend to lean back on the 89 a lot again. Seekers were my favorite sub weapon in the first game, I'll take what I can get in the second on seeker-like weapons so for them to put that with one of my favorite weapons, totally on board with it. Yeah, seems I tend to use the 89 a lot but I like the 85 in 3, I used that one a lot during the splatfest world premier & when I went to PAX West & got to play Splatoon 3. That cooler is a little too good, you respawn so quickly! My friend told me that eventually, her & her whole team were using the 85 during the splatfest & spammed coolers.

Lots of teams run Double 'Zap comps. And of course we're talking about the Ink Armour one. It paints the area around your feet a little bit better than the Splattershot, which on high level tourneys, could mean the difference between life and death.

Honestly though the music in fe echoes slaps. Also, I used the ink armor to destroy the ink armor. 😭

When I saw the video: Finally another vid of one of my mains. The last time I saw one of those vids was in 2018 😂

And basically use that video to explain to others why the sploosh-o-matic "sucks".

As a main of the Missile and Armor zap, I have some other tips. The auto bombs are mostly to harass other snipers or splatings, especially before you try to close out range to other slayers, since the autobomb takes longer time to detonate that other bombs. Also, use the autobomb just before you close up range to other players to limit their movement and distract them. Also don't use the middle in the backline but use it in a safe spot just before an quick flank or attack. The enemy may run into you while trying to dodge the missile and with the tracking you can easily take him down. USE THE MISSILE IN THE FRONT LINE!!

Possibly weird opinion, but I think that the Orange N-Zap is better in lower-level/ranked games than it is in higher. Although it will always have the potential to be extremely annoying, its sub and special don't get kills too often (but I DO love Autobombs and Tenta Missiles, don't get me wrong). In higher level plays, you see a lot more Greys and '83s, as they can play support just as good (and usually better) than the Orange. Most of the time in Ranked when I see Orange players they usually do bad or at least significantly worse than other N-Zaps or other players. I DO love Orange though. Loved making my friends rage by using 7+ Missiles in Turf. Too bad they don't play the game anymore lol

The N-Baps are pretty solid tbh. I mostly used those until I unlocked my Luna.

After watching this video, I decided to give the N-Zaps a try. I grabbed my run speed gear and decided to use it with the different Zaps. And the result was I love N-Zaps I’m almost to X Rank Rainmaker and Splatzones all because of the N-Zaps. It also made me love stages with a lot of grates and uninkable platforms

I only use the N-Zap 85 because my dad had it when he was little :D (also cause I love giving my teammates soda)

I just realized that every ranked mode in this game is like how 2 CP in Overwatch works on steroids, especially in Clam Blitz and Tower Control towards the end because of how fast everyones' respawn is, even with than Overwatch's respawn mechanics.

With the Nzap it’s all about mobility and since it’s a slayer support hybrid you always need to be in your ink so don’t overextend too much.
