So glad it was helpful! Yeah it was about time Adobe added that feature. There is a free plug-in called "thicc stroke" from plugineverything.com It basically does the same but they included a gradient which makes it even better;-)

I want to ask, I made a 1:30 second video with this plug-in, but it takes 48 hours to render. Is this normal? Does this plug-in take a lot of time to render

I am not 100% sure, but unfortunately I think it is not supported... You should test it though;-)

Hey! Thanks, your tutorial is awesome, love it! But I'm facing problem when I export it with Bodymovin, it looks like the tapered stroke isn't supported, I only have big squarish strokes splashing, not so much of sexy look as I wanted. Do you have any idea how I can fix that? Thanks so much for your help, I'm new with ae, so maybe there's one step I completely missed.

You're very welcome! So happy you like it! I don't use Bodymovin very much, but I just googled it and it seems like Bodymovin doesn't support tapered shape strokes. The only possibility I can think of right now is, to use layers and draw masks that look like tapered shape strokes and animate the masks...

The taper and wave options are included into After Effects since version 17 I think.

Hey! One way would be to animate masks which have the form of splashes. That’s how I used to do it.

How many frames did you work on the composition?

Hi ! You mean the framerate? It's 25 frames per sec. And the work area is 1 second long.

It's included since CC 2018. So it must be there. In the stroke property.

You could create splashes with masks instead. You would have to animate them.

in cc 2020 there is no type and wave attribute?

Tapered shape strokes are included since AE Version 17.1

I can't use the "taper" and "wave" attributes, There are any other option to do it? thanks!

The other option is to create these "drop" shapes out of masks and animate the masks.

It should be in the stroke property. It might not be there if your shape doesn't have a stroke, just a fill...

Overall good tutorial but I had some difficulty with the use of "little bits" and "tweaks." It makes it confusing for someone who is learning this for the first time. It would be helpful if you gave actual values to avoid the "why does mine not look like that" feeling
