A group of Black Republicans hosted an event in Atlanta on Wednesday at an area barbershop. Trump phoned in to the event and at one point said about his mug shot, 'Since it happened, the support among the Black community and Hispanic community has skyrocketed.' The Morning Joe panel discusses.

The African American community is informed, intelligent and reflective. I am sure they can figure out on their own who would be looking out for their best interests. All they have to do is look at the past conduct of the two candidates to make up their mind. The responsibility to vote is on them now. But throughout the history of America, it has been the black community which has adhered steadfastly to the core principles that the country was founded on, steering the country back on its steady due course, keeping the fabric of a great democracy intact.
