Shifts and jiufen was so much fun. The atmosphere of old street and the little shops. That peanut ice-cream roll with cilantro is one of my favorite things. I love Taiwan. Hope you had a blast!

Loved my time in shifen& jiufen!

Was very cool to see Shifen, I visited that place in 2018. The bridge, the water falls and we have released a lantern. To go there, we booked a cab for the day. We simply asked the driver how much for the day, showed our itinerary and she gave us the price. It was very reasonable and she drove us all around. Plus she took many photo of us. The people in Taiwan are so nice. I really enjoyed your Taiwan's series. I think the sushi restaurant where you ate was Shushiro, the Japanese chain. I love their sushis, not high end but always satisfying 😋.

Great video!

Was just at Shifen last week. It made my laugh that those balloons are strewn everywhere in the creeks and the forest. The local administration staff told me there are rewards for locals to retrieve the down balloons and they are made from biodegradable materials. I pointed to the down balloon on the top of the Shifen waterfall and the lady just laughed and said it's not retrievable. But they reassured me the balloons are biodegradeble.

KZread has always been my fave platform so will always have my focus 😉 but there are clips that dont make it to the vlog, and on it's own - it's just not enough to be a standalone video, so it just makes more sense as a short vid!
