2024 & still playing this banger 🎉
2023 and still getting goosebumps, the Mara Effect trio has aged like finest wine 🤌
3:18...that belted "razor blade eyes" leading into mikes solo is so incredible
The screaming, the reprise of the softer singing, then the tempo change on the drums, then the mouth-wide-open-singing in side-view with her swinging her arms, then the guitar solo - Part I is pure perfection from a musical, videographing and editing perspective.

Don't remember writing this. I must like this song.
The intensity on that growl from 14:19 onwards is insane. The live versions always have something special and more unique compared to the studio recordings and for me that was it!
Courtney is so skilled at conveying her emotions and telling a story through her lyrics. She is a poet.
FUCKIN HELL.........if you guys read this let me just say this.....im a bloke from the UK I live a very simple life on a boat in the arse end of nowhere.........I like it like that as nobody bothers me ......I'm pushing the wrong end of 40 years old and grew up with the 80s and 90s rock ..........ive be looking for a few bands that can give you that feeling of lighting a spark of life inside you when you hear them.........Devin Townsend is one of those artists I've been into since the early 90s and have followed since then,he gave me that spark............But the other night I was sat on my boat watching the sun set .. I'd had a " home made cigarette " and things were chilled.......then the mara effect popped up on KZread.........my heart jumped out of my chest .......I'd found my modern day Devin Townsend..........PERFECT LIFE MUSIC
You guys have the most insane compositions and time changes. Best band to hit in the last 10 years easily.
The ending of Pt. 3 when she's screaming "it's the effect of the mara" is chilling, in the best way possible.

I love how they all are facing one another in a circle, this really shows how they play off one another’s energy. This speaks volumes of the power of music. The smoothness of the mix is phenomenal, perfectly balanced and the filming was top notch. Courtney’s buttery smooth Amy lee esque clean vocals show a stark contrast to her visceral growls. The technicality of the guitars and time signature jumps of the drums really show a level of craftsmanship that really speaks deeply to me. Most modern metal bands go down the same chugga chugga path, but my oh my is this a breath of fresh air. Bravo!!
