The one take is my fav. Seeing her emote as she does I can feel the song even more. She almost looks possessed at one point! She got deep and dark!

the oldest Spiritbox song. still retains sounds of Courtney and Mike's previous band Iwrestledabearonce.(check out "Gift of Death" or "Green Eyes") they actually just did a full band playthrough of this and a few other songs on a siriusxm thing.

Y’all did the same head thing at the same part and I think it shows how well the band can grab the audiences attention and move their rhythm. I also totally agree with your comment on the blend. The vocals and instruments compliment each other so nicely and don’t overstep where they shouldn’t.

It’s only easier because she has learned proper technique. It’s a way harder skill to do. The average person can sing with little to no training and not fuck up their voice, it’s not the case with harsh vocals.

Has she though? From an interview she did 2019 sounds like she literally just screams with vocal fry and a little bit of false chords - she said she's twice as loud than singers who can do it properly with voice control, she has to rest her voice all the time to stop it getting damaged

@@scottmorey6212 she has had to relearn how to do it all after she had a surgery to remove a growth on her vocal chords. That’s why she has to rest it all the time.
