Just got the Vitruvian edition of this deck and *goodness* does it have personality! Like I'm one of those nerds who sticks her decks under her pillow at night to bond. The first night with this deck, I got tarot readings in my dreams as if I was the cards. I get tarot dreams on the regular now. Benebell, wherever you are, thank you. I know you wanted your cards to be "alive" and I definitely think you achieved it.

Reminds me a bit of the Hermetic Tarot.

wow thats a gorgeous deck :O I fucking LOVE decks that marry simple color schemes or patterns to complex art.

I don’t want to comment on your video pissed off at the assholes in your comment section but I gotta say, all the people jealous of not getting their hands on this deck really know how to poison the mood. Anyway, I loved your video, I pretty much love all your vids, I’ve been a subscriber for a long time and you and Katie flowers are two of my favorite tarot channels on KZread. You’re so down to earth and honest and your commentary is always informative and entertaining. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. I too consider myself a super fan of Benebell’s, I’ve read thru both her books cover to cover, done all of her courses, and she’s basically my work ethic inspiration. Keep up the great work Jessi!

What I'm finding interesting is that everyone who's done an early unboxing, has something different to say. It's all good, but I think everyone who picks up the deck will get an individual take on it. So very cool. I never got finished with the color guide for the free majors...so I guess I'll be reading till mid November like a good bellwen-student.

That's the most beautiful deck I've ever seen in my life. I don't have much money, or access to early information about this kind of things, because it's not very popular in my country. I've seen so many decks through the internet, waiting for one to speak to me, and now when it did, it's not available to my reach. My heart is broken 😢😢😢

Aren't you lucky?! I don't think Benebell sleeps. I really don't know how she does it.

WHAT? No longer available? That's not right. She will surely make it available. It would not require more work to get it printed because machines to that.

I'm a bit disappointed she decided to send out early copies to the "celebrities" online. It's already sold out so it doesn't need that sort of promotion. And I was under the impression the "VIP list" would get decks first but apparently that was scrapped. But hey what's justice got to do with it? ;)

Alicia Waltz That’s untrue. I am no “celebrity” in the tarot community by any means. But Benebell, true to her word, most certainly honored her VIP list. Hence, I followed the requested protocol, and successfully ordered two decks. She didn’t “scrap” anything.

I'm only seeing the tarot celebs (Jessy Huntenburg, Angelo Nasos, Arwen etc) having their decks but my two friends were on the VIP list ad are yet to receive shipping notifications. It seems obvious which people were the priority. I'm just surprised because Benebell seems more down to earth usually. And seeing the deck sold out in a week I don't understand why she would promote it via famous readers.

Alicia Waltz I honestly don’t understand why that’s so bothersome. Those are Benebell’s friends. Isn’t that the artist’s prerogative, to share her creation with her friends? I know I would. Also, Benebell didn’t at all expect to sell out the deck; she thought that those promotional efforts would be necessary. However, she still distributed those first copies as promised. Please understand that I only know Benebell Wen through social media, as an admirer of her work. I did follow all of her updates since August, as this deck came to its completion, and there was a lot of learning on the job as she proceeded. She is human, and she made mistakes. But none of it was ever intended to slight or disregard anyone. By the way, I received my shipping notice late last Friday, so I’m sure your friends will also be notified soon.

I think there were a lot of factors to who got their deck when. My friend got hers almost a month before I got mine, even though my deck is numbered earlier than hers and I'm "VIP". Neither of us are celebs.

Uh no the “VIP list” people got to ORDER first, they were not guaranteed to get the decks first. This woman finished an 80 card deck, a 300+ guidebook, and printing logistics in a matter of months while working full time as a US attorney and you’re going to begrudge her because she happened to ship out certain decks a week or two before others? Honestly you sound triggered and jealous and if that’s how you react to a situation like this, I’d say there was indeed some divine justice involved with your friends getting their decks “late”. Keep being classy friend!

I find the deck very unappealing. The visuals are cluttered, messy, and noisy. To top it all off it's in dreary black and white with too much text written on the cards. Compared to the classic Rider-Waite deck it is vastly inferior and will never ever surpass it. I'm sure some people will embrace it wholeheartedly as they have many other convoluted, pretentious tarot decks. There are some excellent tarot decks on the market other than the Rider-Waite. But this one for me is far from one of them.
