I remember when I was little being absolutely terrified to even go into Spirit, the animatronics would literally make me cry (more specifically the jumping spider). Every year I feel the animatronics keep getting less and less scary, this year I feel the only one that would scare some kids would be bag-o-bones.

Same here I was terrified of them as a child, i actually worked at spirit when I was 16 In 2020 it was still kinda scary. I got immune to it, sense I was seeing them every week. I feel like now these days their just plain and meh….. their not as intense and scary anymore.

What’s so frustrating is that any crafty person could make these look so good by adding better quality clothes, more depth and detail with paints, and tons of fake blood. The problem however is that all of SH’s animatronics are crazy overpriced so it’s not even worth doing a makeover

Pumpkin head needs a different voice . Sound like it's trying to hard the way it's saying "with your head!!". Rat girl is a disappointment...runs right up there with the bully on the swing ..meh 🤷

Time for an animatronic review! Well, kinda. 0:00 Her neck didn't even break, I do that to loosen it up when I'm bored. 0:20 This is why we don't mix 2016 and 2020. Seriously, who the hell wanted sanitation clown? 0:36 What can I say other than cheesy. 0:57 This makes me physically cringe more than it does scare me. What is that voice he's doing? It's awful 1:18 Gotta be the best thus far. Fairly realistic movements and an interesting backstory. Very situational though. 1:41 Clown. He sings the classic "can't catch me" thing and tells you to come closer. The most basic of clowns. 2:06 The jumpscare, cheapest of scares and the most famous of Spirit's props. No good. 2:25 Exorcism girl is back for more. Although, what she says makes no sense. An exorcism is bad for demons, why does she want that? 2:45 Fine enough edition for any dark carnival. A bit basic, but it works. 3:07 Actually pretty unsettling face. Love how the bag writhes. If the voice didn't change to the cheesy evil voice at the end of some lines, it would be pretty good. 3:32 Really REALLY basic spider. Works fine enough, assuming the asking price isn't ridiculous. 3:51 Pretty neat. Love the plague doctor aesthetic. Strange movements, but they work. Whelp, gonna stop there. Don't feel like writing more.

It’s kind of sad to see Spirit Halloween is starting to be lack luster in their works- Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and I’ve always loved going to Spirit Halloween to see what they’ve god in store- I’m a character artist and I love to make designs, especially creepy ones- Spirit has some great concepts! They’re just unfortunately not done very well- I love some of these concepts but the design and animated aspect of them just make me sad- The crow man was really cool looking and I love that one for a simple introductory animatronic- the clown on the floor laughing was great! I think Mommy’s Favorite was great to! The subtle movement of the bag is a freaky thing to see- but I do think Spirit can bring a lot more things to life if they focus to improve their mouth movements as well as movement - I think the limp arm with one of the zombies was great! The chimp was executed well too! But the cymbals should probably clash faster- Screaming Banshee was always a great one, the movement was spastic and in-human while the character itself just screamed in perpetual agony the whole time- I think Spirit needs to get back to the drawing board and back into what Halloween really is- their props are freakishly expensive for almost no reason- if they really poured their hard work into the props’ designs people would be alright with their prices- make the props scary and worth the price

Me do my son who's 3 we went in there and he's not even afraid at all my husband loves it when stuff jumps out at me and scared me

I like the radioactive clown, it's a fresh new idea

I feel experienced Halloween should probably work with other coexisting companies like transprop maybe with them they can probably get more help on animatronics. I've always liked those 2 places they've so good stuff and rarely test the horror creativity... I know things have been a bit slow for them but I know they'll make a great come back.

In the UK we don't have this so I love watching these every year

Honestly tombstone terror feels like a classic for me due to its sound effects and light up eyes. I’ve been going to spirit since 2005 and out of everything in the last few years I believe that little overpriced animatronic is the closest thing to the classic animatronics just a imo

​@Christine C. I mean yeah they're not the high tech professionally voiced Audio Animatronics you'd expected to get at Disney or in movies. But for the price theses all are I think whoever they paid to voice act the ones that actually talk did pretty well. They sounded like they were having fun. I wasn't counting the screaming, gurgling, moaning, chittering, laughing ones. All thoses sounds are easy to find online.

Betty sharpe is the best The bag moves and what’s scary is thinking that there’s actually somebody in the bag which is very creepy one thing I really really like is Mr. punchy and young crouch is basically just the same thing but apparently he was shrunk down to size because Dr. Allum accidentally shrunk him down that’s the whole story behind young crouching it’s not a bad prop like some people think all these problems are really only prop I really don’t like is new little skellie bones
