@@BradleyTRRX lmao how ironic are you in denial or just joking?i have a imprinted lvl 130 spino went to carnivore island with my friend keep in mind he was on foot taming a rex while i clear out any danger nearby on the the island and wiped out basically every creature on that island my spino was attacked by another lvl 90 rex,lvl 20 alpha carno and a alpha raptor and 3 regular carnos all at the same time and i took almost no dmg they could barely touch me the spino's knockback made it so the alpha raptor and carno couldn't even touch me and the regular carno also couldn't touch me the only one that actually hit me a few times the rex but even he was struggling and died pretty quick any mediocre player riding a spino can just spam attack button and literally can't be touched

Actually spinosaurus was approximately 14-15ft tall not including the sail, which boosts its size up to 18-20ft tall, meaning body wise it was shorter but being 40-50ft long and being semi aquatic it’s safe to say spinosaurus is the heavier and all round larger dinosaur. Not that size necessarily matters in nature but spinosaurus is definitely bigger

Going based on the likely not-up-to-date-yet stats on the wiki... yes! They don't have the health of a Rex, but their melee damage not only starts higher but increases much faster than that of an Allo. Maybe with this higher attack speed they can be viable replacements for Allos against some bosses?

Timothy Trevino it’s not overpowered only due to it’s strength, but due to it’s speed with the water buff and the fact it makes the rex almost useless. The giga did have it’s disadvantages with it having almost no stamina, having a rage meter and not being able to enter boss arenas. The titan only lasts 24 hours and it’s slow. The only advantage the rex has over the spino is the ability to stun flyers at a lower level, when a lot of the meta is ground based.

Spinosaurus was way too weak before. However, I do think that tyrannosaurus rex would win because it was bulkier and spinosaurus had so many obvious vulnerabilities such as its long pelican-like neck and sail. However, I think that the battle would be closer to 50-50 than stated in the video. While it is way more likely that tyrannosaurus rex would win the immediate battle, spinosaurus could quite possibly inflict deep enough wounds that tyrannosaurus rex could die from bloodloss or broken bones just days or weeks afterwards under certain circumstances. However, spinosaurus fans need to face facts: spinosaurus *was not stronger than tyrannosaurus rex* and the spinosaurus in Jurassic Park 3 was stated in the movie to be genetically mutated so it was more powerful, even powerful enough to take down a tyrannosaurus rex with a struggle. But, tyrannosaurus rex fans also need to face facts *tyrannosaurus rex was not the killer seen in the Jurassic Park films* and was not the most powerful dinosaur or even carnivore on Earth, not even during its own time. A couple flaws I noticed in this video are the intelligence and battle experience factors for both of the dinosaurs. The truth of the matter is that we really have no idea how smart the dinosaurs were. The best we can do is determine whether it was a hunter, scavenger, or gatherer based on teeth and eye position in the skull. We also really have no idea how much experience in fighting both dinosaurs would have had. While tyrannosaurus rex was a carnivore, it could have just as easily as scavenged as hunted. Plus, tyrannosaurus rexes had gigantic hunting grounds, meaning it would have been unlikely for them to fight over food. Spinosaurus also ate mostly fish, which is why the conclusion it had less experience in combat was drawn, but it also faced challenges from dinosaurs like carcharodontosaurus and other creatures like sarcosuchus. The amount of battle experience is largely dependant on the environment and age of the two dinosaurs, which are two things that cannot be ignored in a video like this. Spinosaurus also doesn't gain much of an advantage in the water, if it would even be capable of getting tyrannosaurus in the water. Tyrannosaurus could evidently be a strong swimmer because of the strength of its legs and spinosaurus didn't magically become a mosasaurus in the water, it wasn't THAT mobile or agile: tyrannosaurus rex could still easily attack with its large jaws and thick skull to inflict an injury just as painful as it would be on land. The only new ability spinosaurus gains from being in the water is the ability to swim away by heading to deeper water, which isn't really an option unless in a very large river or lake. But then again, this is ARK so scientific facts and real life don't apply.

Jp3 spino was a hybrid (like indominus and indorapter) also ark is not about dinosaurs and neither is JP so stop comparing dinosaurs to the ones in JP and ark. JP is about how humans shouldn't play god and when they did they got genetic monstrosities that killed everything. Ark is about aliens testing you in an never ending loop the call arks.

Alan Chihak I’m quite afraid you mask fake intelligence with fancy words, Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus were both extreme predators, both were at the top of their respective food chains, yes T. Rex was the massively powerful killer we saw in Jurassic park, with jaws so it could crush and contend with the super herbivores around it, Triceratops, and Ankylosaurus are just two examples of its very deadly competition it HAD to be that dangerous Spinosaurus had its own competition, Carcatadornus a large carnivore was likely a contender, not to mention the large crocodiles and giant saw fish the Spinosaurus had to face off with In a fight? It doesn’t matter because they never met up and would never meet up, even if they were on the same continent their preferred habitats would still separate these two super predators, however the T. Rex would MOST LIKELY win, its believed that while bigger the Spinosaurus was most likely an ambush predator, hiding in water till prey came along where be it fish or land prey, Rex on the other hand literally evolved for fighting and competition the herbivores around Rex were larger and better armored the T rex had just too much fighting experience Again though this is a ridiculous argument because they were separated by continent and habitat, and you still need to learn this not spray ridiculous “facts” as though you know anything

@@expertspinosaurid9910 never said it attacks faster than the spino im talking about how when riding a rex you can attack much faster than when you're not riding it,trex isn't the only one that attacks faster when riding it the carno,karkinos,allo and trike all attack faster when they have a rider the spino doesn't really have that problem tho ist attacks at the same speed when it has a ridder

In my humble opinion, the Spino should gradually lose Stamina when it walks, bipedally. For one, it looks too top-heavy to be able to do this, indefinitely, so maybe the Spino can be deadlier than a T-Rex, but only in very short bursts, so as not to take the Rex's primarily role of all-out assault away from it. Secondly, it gives the quadrupedal stance more viability, allowing it to travel faster and for far longer in this state (bipedal=combat mode while quadrupedal=travel). In all honestly, I kinda preferred the older version of Spino because it was a good in-between for the Rex and aquatic tames because it was just tanky enough to feel powerful, in its own right, and amphibious enough to make it a viable traveling dino but did not overmatch either Rexes or water tames in their respective elements (not as Tanky as a Rex nor as maneuverable as water-based tames), allowing the latter two to still be viable in the game. Plus, I kinda miss the Spino's more pebbled skin, its weightier movement and its doggo-like run. As it stands, right now, the Spino's bipedal stance plus its water buff pretty much make the Rex completely obsolete and the latter's dinky roar ability seems like small compensation in comparison. Maybe if the Rex had a special buff against armor or stone structures, that might make it a little more fair.

I got to be honest but that spino looks cool af!

They would both die in a real battle, if a spino delivers a big bite or scratch, that could easily infect the trex with some weird stuff then die, the spino would die easily with a bite to the neck

I love both dinos but the trex had just to much strength on its side and a height advantage. Its bite force is just incredible. But if the spino was actually capable of walking on its hind legs, then its claws would definitely be useful.

Spino has always been my favorite dinosaur cuz of how strange it was unlike other dinos because spino was based for water and fish while carnos or rexes ate land based prey, now seeing that Spinosaurus in ark can whip Tyrannosaurus Rexes ass now, im beyond excited and happy

@@gojirarex5138 Indeed, it just depends on the scenario, if spino knows it's gonna lose, not to mention it's ALWAYS around water, not to mention it would try to avoid the fight, it would see rex, get In the water, and either retreat or wait, if the Rex is stupid, Spinosaurus could pull it in and drown it, gator/croc Style, Spinosaurus didn't have a good bite, but it had grip in its jaws

That roar does the Rex in during NPC fights. It's technically stronger since it does the same DPS as a Spino in biped (No water boost), but it has more health. This is however a perfectly fine case as the Spino is a very strong and mobile battle mount. It's biped turn radius is about as good as it can get so Spinos can't be flanked so easily. Personally I like the Spino more both in Ark and as a dino in general. I think these two are finally in good match. Spino is DPS and Rex is balanced with HP. Very nice TLC updates to both these guys. ^^ The Spino also lives up to it's difficulty to obtain as well. I never understood why it was so weak compared to the Rex yet so much harder to tame. The Spino is a lot of fun to use. I love running around on mine just to admire the world and battle some creatures.

Mhm probably a tie or 50 chance of both winning... Though the spino has a buff when he’s in water and while he’s out of the water for 30 seconds and it literally buffs everything so if the spino had that buff the fight would be over much quicker.
