幼い頃に何度か乗ったけど2011年の事故で撤去されたと聞いた。 コンパクトなのにスリルあって面白かった

@usfguy85 The original articles in Japanese (not the English translations) mention his weight and size. The size of his stomach meant that the safety bar could not be lowered completely, and thus did not "lock" down onto his lap.

It looks like a kiddie ride. How on earth did someone manage to die on that?

@memphistim2001 The victim was morbidly obese. He could not close the safety restraint down to his lap properly. I've ridden it a few times. The combination of the whipping around turns (not shown) while spinning would throw you out if you weren't properly secured.

this looks fun as hell! I dont care if a man died or not it was just a bad chnace out of like 100 people who have ridden it.

I wonder if an overweight person was thrown from this ride because centrifugal force is throwing the rider into the restraint, causing a failure in the restraint system. Contrast with the Fairly Odd Coaster at Mall of America, where centrifugal force throws the rider into the back of the seat instead.

説明文にも書いてますが、コースターの所為ではなく、運営上の問題と捉えてます。 ちなみにrcdbによれば、舞姫はオーストリアのWiener PraterというパークでInsiderなる名称で稼働中です。
