The first question is, Sir, I had a car accident 7 years ago and I had a small spine fracture, which I got treated and I started walking after 3 months. Now, on and off I have pain.
Now I am two months pregnant. Will the child be having some other problems related to the spine? Ok. In this question, I would like to mention two or three things to you.
Because the injury happened 7-8 years ago, there is going to be no new issue in your back today. If the injury happened 7 - 8 years ago, and not taking care of the back muscle then itself, there could be a problem.
A car accident that happened then, will not cause a problem today. In case, if they were unable to walk earlier, and if they have recovered, during the birth of the child, the recovery will not affect her. And, they have asked if the child will have any problems. Clearly, the child will not have any problem. If the child not being able to walk is what another doctor has told, the spine injury and the child not being able to walk has no connection. Some other fetal related problem, that is, when the child is inside the womb, if the mother and the child have other problems, only then the child's walking ability would be affected.
Same thing, a lot of people Doctor said that the bone is broken to 20 degrees, took three months rest and now I am able to walk. Will there be any problem in the future sir? This is their question. If what was broken has fused, then there will be no problem in the future.
Whereas, had this happened to an elderly person as osteoporotic spine compression fracture it would further collapse day by day. In young adults, or in adolescents if the bone has fractures and has fused it will not cause further complication.The bone will not further crumble or break.
