Flip is a really underused item that i’d like to see in this challange

Spindown dice coming back to haunt Matt after he left it. A blood bank machine, (Potential Brimstone), ventricle razor (Tech X) and Bot Fly (Death cert.) within the first few minutes afterwards was hilarious.

Hey Matt I love your content and I think it would be a fun idea to do a challenge where you start with Lost Soul and try to keep him alive for the rest of the run

I think you should start with R key and use it in the first room. Would be a great video.

What I would recommend for the run is a modded challenge called "The R Key Challenge", it's basically whenever you get hit, you activate the R Key effect - it almost guarantees a super fun OP run every time

For a start, what about Judas + Birthright? It has some interesting synergies (Urn of Souls, Notched Axe, etc)

there's even a mod on the workshop that adds a buncha more custom synergies for JudasBR, up to pretty much every active item in the game i believe. this is a great idea!

A run with D100 and you always have to use it when it's charged. Would be interesting

I think an interesting item to start with would be Death's List. Most people don't pick it up because you usually find it when you can't really benefit much from it. Seeing how much it can actually do would be very interesting.

I love that mattmans challenges are just "Hey, how truly op, are op items?" XD

Maybe on active item starts you also give yourself a schoolbag? May be too OP but I feel like would’ve been cool to see you run R key spindown

As sadistic as it sounds, could you do a run starting with ludovico? I feel like it gets more hate than it deserves. You can get some very pretty synergies like playdough cookie/fruit cake just watching it cycle colors and shapes

If you wanted to get as much arcades as possible, you should have alternated between the normal route and the alt route so you can get a II floor every time (since those are the only floors arcades can spawn)

arcades spawn on odd floors/ 1 floors on altpath, as opposed to even floors/ number 2 floors on the normal path

I had the craziest Spindown run last night. Found it in the curse room as tainted Samson, and by the end of that run I had school bag with d infinity, sacred heart, three brimstones, rock bottom, kidney stone, three magic mushrooms, and practically every other cool item I have unlocked.

I also got an early r key so I ended up getting like half of tainted Samson’s marks in one run

I know it’s kind of RNG but strange key and Pandoras Box interaction would be cool to see

the thing i like about spindown thats better than glitched crown, is that you dont breakfast that fast and even if you breakfast, you still can get new items, just takes longer and you might need batterys but yeah with glitched crown, entering boss rush and you lost a lot of items in an instant while with spindown you have better controll over what items you get and youre not limited to any item pool, the only thing that matters is the item you start spindowning first

Really enjoying this type of content- I would have liked to see a Spindown/Schoolbag start, too! Even though it’s not possible to get two items with Death Certificate, I’d like to see a showcase of the best way to break the item simply by doing a run!

When you said you played 4 souls on tabletop simulator i got the image of the two buff men shaking each others hands because that was my introduction to 4 souls

Spindown is like a better "there's options" where you almost always have 2 choices with an item you see but you have to use charges to get that second item

You should try out Midas Touch with Blue Baby: Midas Touch start as Blue Baby is so overpowered, you average like 60 coins a floor. You can fill up Deep Pockets by the end of the run, it's insane. Even better if you find E-coli. Who knew two bad items make an overpowered combo?

You could have kept spin down for mines, depths, mausoleum, and then grabbed r key in the ascent. But that would have made a longer run.

i think r key is genuinly the best long term item because you can double your characters completion marks in 1 run

To be fair, spindown is only broken if you have the item description mod or take an extensive amount of time to memorize the items you would want to spindown.

An item that doesn't get enough love as a start, in my opinion, is libra. It's certainly slow to start and can be difficult but I've gotten crazy runs when I get a first floor libra. Especially as a character like Cain or Sansom
