Can I say 1st? Watched the short of this in the water, gave me an idea to fully waterproof one of these and stick one of those torpedo motors underneath 😀

It's actually a cool design and I'm sure customizers can easily repaint the exterior so it looks like a real car. It would be interesting to see if 1/12 scale model car seats would fit inside.

In the meantime have you seen spin master's take on the 1989 Batmobile? It's a good bit smaller than the McFarlane one but it's really accurate, way cheaper and at least it's got the canopy color right (the McFarlane one has a grey canopy for some unnerving reason...)

@@thestarkknightreturns I've seen it, looks better than what McFarlane did I'll admit, though, it's a limited edition RC Batmobile for 4 inch scale. I'm a bit disappointed with my go to pre-order store, they ran out of stock of McFarlane's The Flash movie Batmobile and Batwing quickly.

This batmobile is great. It is pure Batman in its design, while being original. It's light while being sturdy. I bought two of these and I got its two variants (black with blue headlights, and Dark blue with yellow headlights). Spin Master nailed the body for this car - a mix of 1989 Batmobile with some modern designs for the Rebirth Batmobile - as much as Mattel nailed those two "Missions Batmobile" back in 2018, which were inspired by the Telltale videogame Batmobile.

Yes I agree, and that's what I've known too, that this was Spin Master's original design for the Batmobile, but was inspired by several Batmobiles from the comic books, animated series, tv series and movies. I saw someone commented on a facebook post that this version of Batmobile was from a Batman comic book storyline but he did not mention what was it. I'm not sure if that's true though. And someone also commented that this was from rebirth. I guess I have to revisit that. I have another version of the Batmobile by Spin Master. I'd probably post the video once I'm done with my research where was it based.

And the "Bat -tering" ram face on the front reminds me of the 1950's Batmobile (see the model kit by Johnny Lightning)

@@elcarajo66 and don't forget many of the Batmobiles from the late 70s to the early 2000s which kept the Bat-shaped Battering ram as well.
