We live in such a sick and dangerous world

We had our coffee spiked. When we said the coffee tasted odd. All three of us did not sleep for 2 nights. We never went back to that coffee shop. Thus was some years ago

I'm a 41 year old guy and I was spiked when out having lunch and when I got my pepsi it tasted odd. Then started to lose control of my body and had to helped home. When I was able I reported it to the police. They weren't interested, just said I had to much to drink despite telling them I don't drink alcohol, they continued to ignore me. The cafe/bar also refused to believe me as I reckon it must of been one of the staff. But no one would listen.

Name and shame the place.

One has to wonder if it‘s not sometimes done by members of staff. Like this, the going out for drinks-industry will just dissolve. Who in their right minds will want to risk this?

My friends daughter was taken to hospital by ambulance because she was unconscious, her mother was told she had been spiked. The police were called but took no further action because they needed a statement. Then she got worse and went into a coma, luckily she did survive. Unfortunately she suffered brain damage and is in a wheel chair.

I'm a man, got spiked twice. I thought it was quite an interesting, different, experience. Maybe my 12 stone athletic body style made it not affect my body so much, just mainly the brain. 🙃

This is very frightening as its anonymous who gets charged for committing such a horrific crime..to cause paralysis that's criminal 😮😮😮

If police, hospitals and the hospitality industry don't trace these incidents seriously, it will just lead to more people not eating out, destroying the industry and tax revenue.

What? they saw some spike their drinks - then felt drugged, but didnt feel comfortable telling the friends she was with. What? Sounds like theres more to the story than shes telling

It's disgusting that anyone would do this. I had one drink and a coke and was swaying, laughing then sick and headache at a pub yrs ago. I don't know for sure why. I know one thing, it is not funny or clever.
