Öspiel, I've been playing the tracks of this young artist for quite a while already so it’s a pleasure to welcome him at HEX Transmission. Born in France and now based in Brussels Belgium, he reveals his name comes from the German word Hörspiel, the combination of 2 words: hör that means "listening" and spiel that means playing. Interesting.
His sound is properly industrial and at the same time sharp, a very strong combination that makes his tracks completely come out from the speakers when you play them. I personally appreciate a lot the dedication of artists to sound design, especially nowadays where it seems that everything must be just as distorted as possible.
In July 2021 he released on SNTS' label Sacred Cour. He also has a split EP coming out on vinyl on BRVTAL from Budapest and vinyl VA on Demian Records from Paris.
