Thanks for the review, I have never used a set up like this. I have an extremely comfortable Street and Steel jacket with armor/pads that is unlined. When it's cold I wear my 850 down Patagonia puffy jacket underneath and it also doubles as an around camp jacket. I have been carrying a rain suit but it's a pain to stop and get dressed along the motorway. lol I may look into something like this come April when I get the bike out again. Great job.

Thank you very much for a really nice review of the set. How long arms do you have, because that's where I'm most worried about. My sleeves are often too short I think.

I use a similar system, with the waterproof lining on the inside (Rukka). It does give the suit more flexibility in a range of temperatures and weathers. The only downside I have found is, if camping, storing a soaking wet outer jacket in your tent overnight can be pretty annoying. Thanks for a detailed and honest review. Stay safe.

thanks for watching! absolutely true, but I've found that after a day of rain on the bike I usually don't have the nerve for camping and then just end up going for a hotel...

so with the rain layer separate, is it a pain in the butt to switch back and forth? I envision a hot summer day where you want breathability but then in the middle of your ride, a flash rain storm comes...if I have to stop and remove my pants just to add a rain layer, that is extremely inconvenient and doesn't really work. Am I understanding correctly that the only way to be waterproof/prevent rain is to ride with a rain layer that eliminates breathability?

That's insane. No one, I said NO ONE will take off his pants in the rain just to add rainproof layer. When the producers will understand it finally???

Is it comfortable to have layers?? I never had it . But I think it's stupid when your jacket totally wet already even if u are under waterproof layer u still gonna feel cod Am i right??????
