If you like wargaming ,middle earth, the shire and the lord of the rings and you want to make a wargaming board or ultra realistic terrain for d&d or middle earth Strategy game then this is the video for you. In this video I make tabletop terrain that is miniature and based on Mirkwood from the hobbit. Ultra realistic diorama building can be easy, if you take time and keep adding details to your diorama. This terrain tutorial shows you exactly how to do that. Wargaming terrain can be used with D&D but also tabletop games like Warhammer 40k and also Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game from games workshop. Wargaming scatter terrain is fun to make, most of the materials are cheap and the end result will make your tabletop terrain really fun to play on. Wargaming terrain building is not difficult, anyone can do it so diy is the right approach. DND terrain diy can also double up as warhammer terrain diy because you can use it for both games. I hope you enjoy this wargaming terrain tutorial where I make some hyper realistic wargaming scenery and terrain. Of course this is scatter terrain which is the bread and butter of wargaming terrain building and this is specifically based on the location of Mirkwood from the popular JRR Tolkien story The Hobbit. I hope you enjoy the video, and if you read this whole ridiculous sentence please let me know in the comments and we will have a laugh about it :D

@@Nat1videos Lots of uses, tree trunks and limbs, use a fork to make bark lines. Use it for basing material. It is hard as a rock, mixes with water, add some PVA glue for extra adhesion. Caution though, too much liquid and it may warp MDF or poster board. FYI, I think that Kraut Glue is just PVA mixed with water, model railroaders use that a lot.

Really enjoyed the video. You manage to do a good job of being both instructive and entertaining. Would love more footage of you walk through the Forest of Dean. Some very interesting terrain there. Definitely an inspiring journey. I felt for you when you mentioned the broken knife. Good tools can be hard to find, and are sometime even harder to replace if that style, or manufacturer, no longer exists. Interesting tree making methods. I don't think I have either seen either of them before. I liked the final results. My only complaint would be that I feel the terrain was a bit too rocky, and the trees are too short for Mirkwood as described in the books. I would have gone for smaller rocky outcrops, and taller trees, but that is just me. All in all well done, and worth the time watching.
