In comics or in universe explanation is that his sticky hands isn't actually sticky. It is actually intermolecular bonding done by his spider powers with less scientific explanation, meaning if he is not letting go off a surface it will never let go until he relax off his hands. This is default with or without the black suit.

Not familiar with this story but how does he just choose to put on the symbiote? Does he have it available to him at any time? Also, him "not holding back" in this suit would be pretty different from him not holding back without it.

To the point they distinguish between it and the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man by calling that side of him "The Spider", because as far as they're concerned, there's *nothing human about him anymore when that happens, just an apex predator that hasn't decided yet whether it's going for the throat or playing with it's food*.

So the Venom Route in Ultimate Spider-man then.

The attack is called Mark of Kaine because Kaine was the one to use this attack more often. Spidey just applies the force with which he sticks to walls on skin and uses his strength to rip it off. The attack is really brutal so Peter doesn't like to use it but he was pissed off here.

I've started to wonder about the mechanics of the mark of Kaine. We know it's an offshoot/corruption of Spider-Mans wall crawling power but how does it work exactly. I have 2 guesses- as kain is an imperfect clone his genetics were always in flux and degenerating at a rapid pace, so I wonder if this corruption/degeneration can temporarily passed onto another through the use of his corrupted wall clinging. Or, Spider-Man clings to surface by controlling the interatomic interaction between molecules through the use of an electro static cling, so if this power were suped up a bit (as we know kaines powers are, since he's actually stronger than Peter) it could theoretically flow through the body and scar it through the use of electricity; side note I think this is how Miles has electricity powers, a mutated and stronger version of the electro static cling. Idk, just some nerd food for thought 🤷‍♂️🤔

@@Rob-hb7wh Actually Peter Parker doesn't use electrostatic force to attach to surface. But other spider people like Miles and Jessica do use it. Peter's wall clinging was due to small leg like appendages on his skin as shown in Tobey Maguire's Spider man films as it was based of the comics. So, no, Peter can't scar using electricity but good Idea for Miles if he ever snaps. On the side note, I think Miles just has bio-electricity in the form of venom which generally attacks the nervous system and people with genetic alterations just like a venom is supposed to especially in spiders which was, in fact,genetically altered.

It's a trick Kaine came up with and dubbed "the mark of kaine." Basically, anyone with wall-crawling abilities turns it up to maximum potency, so they would be nearly impossible to pull off a wall, but they do this while holding somebody's face, and using their strength, force their hand off. You can guess what happens. And due to it happening on a molecular level, it never heals right. You are permanently scarred with a handprint on your face.

Also This isn’t the symbiote just cloth black suit as a lot of people seeing this will think it’s the symbiote (which didn’t even increase strength in comics anyway just made Peter cut lose more of his own strength) it’s just the cloth black suit so this is just normal Peter pissed the fuck off - (EDIT): because people keep coming to me saying I’m wrong a quick research will tell you what I’m saying is true in the original comics it didn’t enhance peters strength and when it went to Eddie it took Spider-Man’s enhanced strength and added it to Eddie who was built like a brick shit house. It is only in other adaptions that the symbiote enhanced the strength of Peter or make him evil (because btw it didn’t make him evil in the original comics either)

for context Spiderman is considered a tier 4 in strenght, which means his up limit is about 25 tons, and can lift a train wagon, can hold and even a small tank, and seems that there were occasions where he was capable of lifting even more than that. I think there is a scene in Superior Spiderman where Thor and Hulk are holding him down and he is still capable of moving a little

It’s honestly hard to tell how strong spider-man is because he’s always holding back and even when it says he stops holding back you take one look and the man is still holding back

Spider-Man when holding back is considered equal to an asgardian (just not bulletproof) but when he’s NOT he’s literally lifted buildings, and can casually ragdoll the enemies who are on par or “stronger” than normal levels spidey

The times heroes stop holding their punches, they don't step on the scales, they break them.

People forget that spiderman went and has beaten heavy hitters before and when people find out how strong he really is they get shocked knowing he holds back even in life or death situations

That is okay. The old Madame Web died, but the universe promptly gave her powers, knowledge and blindness to Julia Carpenter (the second Spider-Woman), so she had a successor in which the legacy and function of Madame Web could live on.

Spiderman being a good guy holds back everything he does given how powerful he is.

I love it when Peter doesn’t hold back. It shows how much restraint and how powerful Spider-Man really is. Hell, I bet if Peter really wanted, he could take out most if not all the heroes and villains and rule the world. But the fact that Peter holds back so much, is so considerate of everyone even villains and is able to control such power makes him; to me at least the greatest hero ever.

Let him try to fight the marquis of death or chaos king or franling richards or mathew malloy and watch how fast Spiderman never existed. There are just some character with power beyond imagination. Agaisnt them punching hard and dodging is irrelevant. Not trying to be a dick or anything but saying he could take out most of if not all heros/villains is a massive reach. Even if he is not holding back there are just some characters who can hit way harder. Even world breaker hulk almost destroyed the whole eastern seaboard just by taking a step, spiderman has nothing to answer that level of power never mind the affore mentioned guys. They could just erase him from existence by just thinking it. Not even going to mention all the other guys who would have even a pissed off no punches pulled spiderman dead to rights in seconds.

so Kain who is basically a clone of spidarman used to be a baddie. he uses his sticking power to rip people's faces off and called the mark of kain. he later became the scarlet spider. Kain went through a redemption arch or five. them killing him off is sad, but not his first death.

Guys you’re all a little off. The mark of Kaine was when Kaine was still degenerating in the clone saga and his powers where out of whack. Instead of sticking to things he would basically damage them instead. When he touched peoples faces it would kind of burn an imprint on their skin. That’s what he called the mark of Kaine.

It's so underrated how they emphasize Peter's true strength being used usually only out of absolute necessity just because he's *that* kind. Dude literally held together an entire cruiser, complete with people AND cars.
