@@alexmunch9275 California adventure right next to “Guardians of the galaxy: Mission breakout. It’s going to be called Avengers Campus and was supposed to open December of 2020 but got delayed due to COVID. There will be meet and greet for most characters but most prominently for Doctor Strange in his sanctum. There will be two rides. The first is the quinjet and the second is a Spider-Man ride. Not many details have been released for the quinjet ride but the Spider-Man ride revolves around a new organization called W.E.B. (I forget what it stands for). They have developed spider bots to help Spider-Man man but the spider bots have gone haywire. The ride consists of you going on a transportation device of sorts. You will have AR (augmented reality) glasses and when you hold your hand in front of you in the spider man position you will see a web shoot out from your wrist. You have to help Spider-Man take out all the bots by shooting them. You can also buy these bots with themes for different super heroes. You can walk them around and have battles with other spider bots. You can also get backpacks to carry them around. The food options will consist of a shawarma palace food truck and Pym test kitchen which will feature multiple dishes that have been up or down scaled. An example is giant soft pretzels. There will also be a show in which multiple superheroes do stunts as they run across the rooftops. This is most likely where the Spider-Man animatronic will come into play!

Who got this recommended after the Avengers Campus inauguration?

The robots secret to performing these death defying acrobatics is that huge package between its legs.

"Hey, think we could have an award category for stun doubles?" "Actually, I'd rather replace them than recognize them"

Watched a 5 minute vid about how these things work and now I think about it, if you used a system that uses AI to accurately shoot a connective rope type thing, to the animatronic's wrist, add AI to the animatronic and have it be able to lock onto the rope, in theory, if the AI was good enough, fast enough and the "body" could move fast enough, you could legit have a Spidey animatronic that swings around to different locations. I mean, it'd take some work and it could be reversed, with a spool of connective rope that depending on the pre-determined route it's taking, has connections every x amount of metres or whatever, that's inside the animatronic's body and connects to pre-determined connections situated on buildings with sensors on them to accurately judge when and how to launch the rope.........but considering how accurate the animatronic is at looking like Spidey, all it'd need to know, once that system had been designed, is how to accurately move the body judging the tension on the rope, the wind, the weight of the rope etc etc etc. Do it in a reasonably controlled environment big enough that you can SEE Spidey swinging whilst you're at the parks, but if the animatronic fails or falls it doesn't fall on any passers by, and it could look pretty cool. You could even have multiple ones so one launches and then drops behind a building and then another launches at the same time so it looks like it's the same dummy. I dunno, I'm just thinking out loud.

I don't know why, but people seem to believe that robots are cgi. I don't know why, it's just what ive observed, but it's not CGI I'll tell you what.

I would love to see animatronics like these used in movies to film stunts too dangerous for actual performers to safely do. Too often filmmakers turn to weightless CG stand-ins that don't feel real enough.

It appears to have pre-programmed poses, so that was likely a spiderman landing pose, which essentially would be animated. Just executed physically, instead of graphically. As long as the physical framework is capable enough, they could hypothetically rig animation to it like a 3D model
