him and amerie had so much potential! i didnt HATE missy and spider, but it felt so forced. the writers left amerie and spider so unanswered. fun fact: unlike season 1, amerie and spider do not have a single scene alone together in season 2.

yes okay i hate spider hes such a miserable little prick that i cannot understand how anyone likes him?? we see repeatedly throughout season one and even season 2 that he acts like such an a hole. he will bring people down just because he doesn't get what he wants and he reeks of toxic masculinity. the beginning of the show, just because he couldn't have a good exual interaction with amerie he decided to torment and attack her for the season one. and people look at that as this cute, romantic thing when it really is just psychotic. this continues when he frames Jojo, for another no reason because he's mad. and going on to Season 2, he acts just the same, but he's more misogynistic somehow. he literally blames harper for being a victim of r//pe and mind you this happens within the first like 2 episodes. and he continues to show that he is not a good character throughout the show and has no chance of redemption because he's just an incel. and when i see a bunch of people root for and want him to end up with somebody it makes me so bad because he truly deserves to be alone cause he's crazy and a freak. because of him i struggle finishing season 2 because i cannot stand to see him at all. and when I see people sit here and praise him and act like he's such a good character with you good heart it makes me sit and wonder did we watch the same show

I actually don't think they will get together in season 2. They are absolutely endgame for sure 😍 but until we reach this point, a lot has to happen 😅 I hope Spencer gets his redemption arc in season 2 and if Amerie and Malakai don't work out Spencer and Amerie will become the couple with incapable amount of chemistry that will never get together. 😂 Maybe if we're lucky to get enough seasons they will end up together ❤ But I really hope the writers don't burn this opportunity so soon because if they do they will break up in the later seasons eventually 😢

i don't know if they've become a thing, but i definitely feel like spider in Season 2 has a possible redemption similar to adam from sex education. his character compared to the others was very superficial, but it was clear that he has some importance in the narrative, i think maybe they will show a more sensitive form of him.
