The reason I love this series (Fat Man on Batman) is that it reminds me of my childhood, spent theorising, arguing, joking & fantasizing about comic book movies with my best friend. He died at 16, in 2000. Missed out on all this MCU shit actually happening. As ridoculously good as the movies are, nerding out about it with like minded people is almost as much fun. Thanks, fellas.

I'm tired of critics saying superhero fatigue is setting into audiences, when Logan, Guardians, Wonder Woman and Spider-Man have all had huge box office draws. People just don't want to waste their money/time on crappy big budget films that have a shitty rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Shot in the dark guess about Wonder Woman 2's story: Chernobyl was actually an attempt by the Soviets to harness mystical powers. The disaster opens a gate to the underworld and unleashes the undead and creatures from Tartarus. Steve is one of the spirits that comes back. Wonder Woman has to battle through possessed mutated creatures to save the survivors and close the portal to the underworld.

The Berlin Wall came down in the 80's Kevin, so yes, if that is when the sequel is set, definitely means it is in the 80's. As for Trevor, I bet they go the route that the TV series did when it switched to the "modern" time frame and have the 80's version of Steve Trevor be the son or grandson of the original (would need to be grandson for age/time).

Sandman looked awesome, the fight between Peter and Harry looked liked it would be intense, and then Venom which was a big draw for many..... obviously, the movie didn't pan out too well. But you can see why so many went to see it. Not to mention Spiderman 2 was fantastic so we expected it to at least be on par.
