If my memory serves me well, he has an estimated body fat percentage of 2%. How he doesn't pass out whilst fighting is beyond me.

@@joshwright4799 You could make a decent argument for the lot of them ending up in the Avarice Corps since at the end of the day, they're all hired guns who literally kill for money.

Fear doesn't fit venom. He's not inspiring fear on purpose, and isn't manipulating it remotely. He's inspiring rage, anger that Harry's goal isn't done now, hatred towards people like kraven who hurt others in peter, he is rage. And it's the methods that separate the two cores. Yellow lanterns don't take direct approaches unless necessary, but red laterns use nothing but force, and venom fits the latter much better.

I like how Kraven and Venom both are dying from diseases. When Kraven says “you do not know what it’s like to have your body betray you.” It hits so much harder for someone like Harry.

I think Kraven did fit in Fear more. The reason he’s seeking his death so intensely is because he’s afraid of succumbing to his condition after all. Also, Venom by definition is a rage, vengeance fueling monstrosity. Even Carnage has less hatred in his heart than that thing.

@@nachosp7882Carnage kills for fun in a no hard feelings type of way, nothing is personal he is just a psycho. Venom feels intense anger and hatred to Spider-Man and those he feels are wrong and worse than him, he is extremely personal and more fueled by his emotions

Most if not all yellow lanterns are about inspiring fear. Other than Jessica Cruz, I struggle to think of a single yellow lantern that is overtly fearful, or uses there own fear to gain power

@@toastmastergeneral3391 That’s fair. But looking at it in that way, he still had his marks terrified and desperate. Sandman completely lost it from how intensely he was being pursued, Shocker was fighting so hard for his life that he genuinely impressed Kraven, and I know Scorpion was ready to throw in the towel when he got his stinger ripped off.

I think a better fit for Doctor Octopus is the Will Lantern Corp. Despite being a failure by his own admission, Octavious never gave up, first in trying to make the lives of others better, then in making them worse. Despite being poor, physically frail and alone (no friends or family except for maybe Peter), he keeps stubbornly going, and this willpower of his is what made him such a dangerous man. Even after ending up in prison and losing everything, he never gives up on his goal.

I absolutely agree, i think he fits will more than fear, i was literally thinking it the whole time as he talked about doc ock

Mr Negative is my favourite villain from Spider-Man’s Rogues Gallery and he definitely belongs in the Hope Lantern Corp because he realises his mistakes and even though his crimes will never be forgotten, he manages to realise his wrongdoings which makes him switch from rage to hope for change.

I think for a man like Otto, with as powerful a mind as he has, he'd take willpower over fear. He got where he is because of his strength of will.

Venom with wings is a call to the King in Black storyline in the Comics, and when I saw that in game I was fanboying like crazy

symbiotes aka Klyntars, have always scared me as such venom or carnage or any symbiote like character will go in the yellow lantern core of fear without question for me.

These were all perfect fits My favourites were Mister Negative and Kraven. Li being in Hope is brilliant. It is the opposite of Rage and I think Li walking down a better path, accepting his sins, taking them with him is awesome. Kraven being in Death is too awesome to think about it. I think Nekkron would absolutely accept Kraven into his Corps, he would be the perfect soldier/assassin Also I’d love a Lantern Corps video based on The Universal Monsters. Frankenstein’s Monster, Imhotep (The Mummy), The Invisible Man, Dracula, Werewolf, Creature of The Black Lagoon, Dr. Jekel/ Mr. Hyde ect

I don't think venom was. He's scary sure, but that's only one of the requirements, and the rest he doesn't fit. His methods especially are brute force and no mercy, something the yellow lanterns don't fit, they're about manipulation, about hiding in the night. And look at what he inspires in others, anger in Harry over his goal being seemingly so close but people are resisting, especially his best friend. Hatred in people like kraven, who hurt others for selfish reasons in peter. Those aren't fears, they're RAGE. He might accidentally scare people, but his main goal is to cut down any that oppose his rule over a planet that hurt him. That is the biggest reason anyone becomes a red latern.

Before watching; Kingpin: Greed. Mr. Negative: Rage. Electro: Hope. Scorpion: Greed. Rhino: Rage/Will. Vulture: Will. Taskmaster: Will/Greed. Screwball: Greed. Doc Ock: Rage. Sandman: Love. Kraven: Will. Mysterio: Will/Hope. Tombstone: Greed (SM1), Hope/Will (SM2). Lizard: Hope. Venom: Rage.

With Mr Li I think compassion is even more accurate, if we consider why he made FEAST and how he is redemeed himself.

What about your thoughts on Electro, Shocker, Rhino, Vulture, and Scorpion for where they belong in the lantern corps? I mean granted that they were not in the games for too long and they were pretty much either killed off by Kraven or not present in Spiderman 2, but what lantern corp would you more than likely put them in?

I'd place Kraven in the Fear lantern corp because of his fear of not dying a worthy death. Though both fit really well

I'd say Otto's desire is for recognition, not to be feared. Norman got credit for all of Otto's accomplishments, Norman got credit for the company that he and Otto built, he got all the success that Otto should have shared as Norman took the spotlight and Otto was thrown away like trash. Otto even says this before he threw norman off of a rooftop. Otto just wants the world to know that norman didn't pull himself by his bootstraps and he didn't achieve his success all by himself like he would have you believe. I'm not sure what lantern corps a desire for recognition would put you in, but I'd say that's more fitting for Otto then wanting to be feared.

I think you should do a part 2 with the rest of the villains such as Electro, Rhino, Vulture, Black Cat, Hammerhead, Sand Man, Mysterio, Norman Osborn, Scorpion, Wraith and Carnage

Otto doesn't want to be feared he wanted to be recognized for his contribution to Oscorp

I think venom fits way more in the red lantern corp. Making Spider-man achieve a point where he literally wants to kill his ennemies ( and also his friends at some point ) show he want to get revenge extremely easily, leaning to it the moment it's host gets "backstabbed" instead of leaning to others emotional spectrums.

Like to see a part 2 to this video needlemouse and seeing villains like idk tinkerer, prowler, Simon Krieger, silver sable, the flame etc 👍🏻👍🏻

Overall I had a great time with Spider-Man 2. As a whole I do think I felt more fulfilled with the story of the first game although this game did also have a lot of high points. I think my biggest issue with the story is how it handled the symbiote and Venom as a character which I didn't think was very well thought out. I thought Harry was handled quite well and I enjoyed his friendship with Peter but him as Venom was one aspect I don't think really worked for me to be honest. He felt more like a generic world ending villain. The game's approach of having Harry as the host for the Symbiote as the story progressed didn't really matter as not much about Harry's personality was reflected in Venom which kind of cheapened the character. It would helped make the thread more emotionally impactful if they had kept the stakes low with an emphasis on the personal battle between Venom and Peter. Overall it felt like Venom in name and appearance only. Maybe there's a little bias in me because I'm a huge Eddie Brock and Flash Thomson fan and I love their development in the comics and they will always be my favourite Venom hosts.

I feel like Venom could also fit into the red lantern corp due to his immense hatred for others that he also inflicts in his host.

The tinkerer would also go in the red lantern core as her motivation is that of revenge against Roxxon for poisoning her brother

Tinkerer: Rage (wants revenge on Roxxon, gets mad when Miles lies to her) Electro: Avarice (wants be pure energy) Hammerhead: Fear (wants him and his gang to be feared by the cops) Norman: Willpower (keeps trying to find a cure for Harry) Mysterio: Hope (trusted Miles to free him from the Mysterium) Sandman: Love (love for his daughter) Cletus: Compassion (total psychopath) Rhino: Death (fly fishing at the volga)

i’m not saying it’s more fitting than Avarice, but i think willpower also works Kingpin. No matter what his circumstances are, he will ALWAYS come back stronger than before, determined to stay on top. to stay the kingpin of crime

Maybe (and I’m just spitballing here) the G-serum reacts to the remaining symbiote dna still in Harry’s system causing Venom to once more take control of his body as the Green Goblin

Red ring for Venom, he's almost always angry

Nobody never talks about the phantom lantern ring. That's the 2nd most powerful ring after the white lantern ring.

I think the Green Goblin is gonna be the next game villain, and that carnage is gonna be the DLC villain

I cant remember where i read this, but Kingpin actually isn't fat. He's almost entirely muscle, which is why he throws around Daredevil and Spiderman on some occasions.

Great video. I can’t wait for the next game when it comes out. I have a personal theory that in the next game that if Harry gets the G serum Osborn created he might actually become Hobgoblin like in the Ultimate comics while his dad becomes the Green Goblin as usual. Though it would be kind of cool if Norman started out as just a guy in a costume before mutating into a hulking monster but that’s just me.

9:42 I completely agree with your viewpoint on Kraven. His goals, personality and story have never been this good and I loved how he killed so many villains to prove how dangerous he is. I think the only ones that stand a chance against him are Mister Negative and obviously Venom.

Imo, Venom (the symbiote) shouldn't be in fear, Venom doesn't want to be feared. He wants what harry wants, hence why Dr.Connors said "they have perfect symbiosis" if anything the symbiote should also go into compassion, as it has a hell lot of it for harry and peter.

I think the only villain you forgot is the tinkerer but we all know that she would be in the rage lantern corp.

Otto would totally put the Blue, Red, Orange, and Yellow Lantern rings on his tentacles. Also, it would be awesome to see both Norman and Harry as Green Goblins to counter Peter and Miles or Miles and Cindy.

Yeess i love this series, just got the game for my birthday just about the beat the main storyline

I honestly think that, when eventually Venom gets reformed for the most part by Harry, he would have both the Fear and Compassion Lantern Rings, as they are two people working together as one, and they are learning the benefits of using each other’s strengths to their advantage, together. Venom as the combined entity would be using fear to bring about a change for the better in the world of criminals and supervillains, and Harry would learn how to wield his fear regarding his plans to help change the world, (although this is not usually how Yellow Lanterns manifest their powers, I know) And maybe use that fear as a way to stand proud and do what’s right, making sure that the businessmen who simply want to use science for money don’t get their way, using fear in an inverse way to how his father would, and has.

Something I wished you talk a little bit about is the flame side quest and what it builds up. Really the whole thing with the flame side quests and the symbiotes is building up Knull the god of the symbiotes which would be insane to see in these games. Also i agree with all of your choices with the lantern corps and I also agree with what you said about kraven this is definitely one of if not the best version of the character.

I feel like the yellow lantern corps for Doc Ock is the wrong choice, and realistically, he should be split into two corps, just like how Sinestro was part of the Green Lanterns before forming his own corps, so I’d say he should be part of the Blue Lanterns when he wants to use his inventions to help others, but when he only seeks vengeance against Norman, he should be part of the Red Lanterns.

I think venom should be in the anger lantern core because what cause venoms creation is all that pent up anger towards Peter with the black suit and how harry is becoming jealous because he wants to be healthy and be a hero like Peter but now he’s just dying

Did you know that you can have multiple lantern rings, that was proven when the guy became the red lantern then the blue lantern he took both rings and became the red and blue lantern due to that he symbolizes both. So technically Mr. Negative is a red and blue lantern

Hmmm I was off the mark on two of them. I half expected Li to be with the Ultraviolet Corp given the shame he feels for his crimes l. And honestly I felt lime Harry being combined with Venom might have lent him to rage. I remember him being quite angry in the final fight. Maybe Scream would be the better fit. Man oh man that fight was heart wrenching.

I personally think the villains are going to be Superior Spider-Man and Green Goblin but, Norman instead of Harry. Superior Spider-Man is self explanatory if you saw the post credits scene but, I think that's G-Serum won't be ready yet so Norman trying to perfect it tests it on himself and slowly becomes more insane throughout the game and goes after both Miles, Peter and I guess Cindy.

Scorpion = fear , kraven = greed , doc oc= rage obviously, sandman = rage, rhino = fear, kingpin = greed, vulture = rage because of his normal origin but insomniac I would say fear, electro = greed, mr negative = rage, venom= idk hive mind ring
