They did such a great job with the story for this game, I'm happy they didn't add Venom. Because I agree with the director. Venom does need a bigger role and full fledged story.

You can equip quips ( that fastest suit power to generate ) and then switch it for whatever you want right after quips is ready and it will make the other suit power loaded aswell , for example iron arms ( one of the longes to generate suit powers )

I don't think any suit power can be considered "OP" alone due to the fact that you can only use them ONCE a fight... Sure some powers are better, some are worse but nerfing something in a single player game doesn't make much sense imo...

Thank you for showing us this video man . These tips are extremely helpful, and easy to remember and follow in playthroughs

Battle Focus, Quips, and Web Blossom. Use blossom as an opening gambit in a base or enemy dense combat encounter, switch to quips to neutralize the suit cooldown, then have focus on standby for either health regen or cleanup.

Yeah I agree my favourite is resupply with spider drones. I'll definitely be using that when the hopefully challenging new game plus comes out! :)

Battle Focus and Web-Blossom are the ones I use most often.

In my opinion, one of the best suit powers and also my favourite is the Negative Shockwave. It literally knocks enemies out instantly (except for brutes)

The iron arms are better than you think cuz they take care of the brutes

Web bomb plus concussive blast is always a great combination for clearing out a lot of mooks. Especially when they're all bunch up together and next to a wall. :)

That's one of my favorites too. For really big groups I use two web bombs, then maybe a suspension mine if i'm feeling frisky, before the concussive blast to the wall. It's weird, when I first started playing the game I thought the gadgets were just kinda distractions from the hand to hand mechanics, but then I actually started using them. I made a loadout that generated tons of focus and extra gadget uses through finishers and just went to town trying to learn them. So many fun combinations and options to use them with the environment.

Battle focus with 3 full bars and the chain skill is amazing , quad damage , and equalizer are the best powers tbh

Honesty my favourite suit power is battle focus I take a lot of damage

Playing on PC. I used Spider-Bro at first, but realized that Web Blossom was insane at finishing quests fast. And since I didn't want to suit toggle for CDs, another perk is it's fast CD. Really can't be beat in my book for most situations; but I haven't played on the highest difficulty. I can see the delay in firing being problem in harder difficulties

I mostly use a combo of quips since it recharges faster than others, and defense shield since it blocks all damage

I love the build focus power the most honestly

My favourite is battle focus I love seeing the finisher combination

You completely slept on the spider punk suit. That suit power is by far my favorite. Not only does it look awesome, but you can clear an entire rooftop.

What's the combo?

Equalizer, Electric punch, and concussive punch are my favorite suit powers

Use Threat Sensors, Kinetic Power Cells, Scavenger, and the Battle Focus power and it’ll turn a base mission into a combo playground

How can I submit my in-game photos? Also nice video and good info on how to make abilities more efficient :)

Personally I like using the web bomb gadget on a group of enemies then using the slider punk special move to stick them all to walls

King of the ring isnt bad either lets you web throw anyone without webs if u combine that with the hurrican web throw makes it really effective in small places

i'm kinda late playing this game but i'm over halfway done playing the main story and i'm playing on spectacular mode because web blossom 🕸🌸 and sticking enemies to walls and dodging like all hell. i love how it could be difficult at times (i think i died 4 times so far) but not totally impossible because these powers at times are so OP especially when you use the extra focus power and heal up whenever you need to and just dodge til that charges. and then get everyone with 🕸🌸

The scarlet spider holograms should self destruct when they run out of time

Please share the “double dodge” that you can do with O followed by X. You can really get away from bombs you would get hit with single dodge

Quad damage and suspension matrix kills everything and instant kills when you press triangle

Unrelenting fury is a good one. You get it from the last stand suit, and it makes every attack both unblockable and satisfying. I destroyed Taskmaster with that one. Equalizer, from the undies suit, has enemies go down in one hit. I wonder what would happen if you used it in a boss fight. I guess we find out in New Game Plus.

Also it's on-brand that Spider-Man can attack through a block, but I dislike the red glow. Same for Quad Damage's blue. So I'll use King of the Ring during my next Ultimate playthrough.

Best suit combo is quips and then switch it to another one and you’ll still be able to use your suit power

I know another good one and it’s Defense Shield for the Spider Armor MK IV Suit you don’t take any damage when you use it

Im for now using quips for the suit power cuz its suits the setting so yeah

I never even used the suit power up things u can equip in your suit. I used iron spider arms and I thought that was op but after seeing the others damn

Really needed a harder difficulty, maybe ultimate Spider-Man as i honestly found the game too easy, even getting 100% in less than a week. i found the battle focus was the most useful to me.

What about equaliser and spider drones? Or concussive blasts instead?

Case and point the game is made in their vision. If something is acting outside of their vision, whether it’s beneficial or detrimental, they have the right to change it. Much like bugs and glitches.

Web blossom is GREAT (until it gets nerfed)

I know insomniac isnt going to do this, but i think it'd be so cool if they did! ok, yknow how the standard web shooters have 10 ammo spots when fully upgraded, then it slowly refills in a few seconds? well what if they released an update where you could keep leveling up your gadgets to have 10 ammo per gadget, and the last upgrade would be an auto restock like the standard web shooters, where every 10 seconds you'd get one gadget back. i honestly dont find myself using a lot of the gadgets because of the low ammo count, and even though i know they refill by doing finishers and stuff, i still find myself only using Impact Webs, or standard web shooters, so i think something like this (or at least just the higher ammo count) would be nice

Question... why do you aim when shooting the web gadgets? You could just hit R1 and whichever enemy you're looking at, Spidey will web them up... just sayin.

Lol. They are taking their sweet ass time with NG+ aren't they? After getting 100% I have been doing nothing but the same thug crimes over and over again. We really need that NG+ in a flash Insomniac. Also bring back the Silver Sable men and Inner Demons for various kinds of crimes when being done with everything in the game. Because fighting only thugs isn't too challenging or much fun and I think there should be more variety with enemies for crimes in the city.

I just started a new spider man game on current highest difficulty but it feels the same as medium difficultly

I’ll make it simple: Insomniac made the game in their vision. Released the game for the public. Realized that a feature of the game is performing better than it is supposed to. They decided to change it to match the original vision they had. You don’t agree with that right? Now, change the * (starred) word with “worse”. Do you still disagree with their choice? This is just like any other bugs or mistakes that could be accidentally implemented into a game. Only this time, instead of the feature being detrimental, it’s more beneficial. I’m not saying they shouldn’t communicate with the community the major changes they want to do to the game. But this isn’t a major change, it’s a feature that was accidentally set to 11 instead of 7. Metaphorically. They never intended for it to happen nor do they want to keep it in. Maybe. I’m not them. Though my point still stands.

Slow time after a Perfect Dodge. Gadget attacks generate Focus. Finishers generate bonus gadget refills. these 3 are good for that suit since anything else its useless, you die in one hit and you do 1 hit ko damage. The last two generates a loop: gadget attacks - generates focus - focus = finishers and finishers generate gadget refills. Slow time its useless to give you a breather after a perfect dodge but if you want to overkill , you can go for: Increases the rate Focus regenerates instead of slow time after a perfect dodge.

Since Norman Osborn is no longer the mayor, I believe that J. Jonah Jameson will become the Mayor. In one of his talk shows, he was describing Norman Osborn in a bad way and ending his statement in something like he is the one that the city needs. I’ll be the most difficult time for Spider-Man if that happens.
