Can we just talk about how they put a meme in the end credits without being cringy?

Peter B. Parker has not forgotten how to be Spiderman... Thats an easy misconception... Watch him closely... He's great at the spidering he's bad at the maning... He thwips with the best of them... He's just disengaged because of the depression you mention... Carry on

My brain did not process this movie as CGI. I processed this a friggin comic book.

The after credits was gold

In infinity War he's in his teens, then on PS4 he's in his mid twenty's, then in this film he's a middle aged man. Its like I experienced Spider-Man grow throughout this year. Amazing

Hell yes man, Spider-Verse is the best animated film of the year, I am in love with the film.

I agree that movie would’ve been better served if Noir, Ham, and Penni had more skin in the game emotionally, but I think thematically the movie would be way less impactful without them. They show how versatile you can be and still be a capable hero. They reinforce the movie’s message that everybody is unique and valuable, and what makes them such good spider-men is that they’ve embraced their quirks and are unafraid to be themselves. They are great role models for Miles. Dramatically, they also ramp up the pressure on Miles to become the spider man they need him to be. The fact that Miles disappoints not two, but five spider-men, five of his peers, is way more emotionally intense than just two.

Couldn't agree more regarding the inclusion of the other Spiders- they were fun additions but you could probably cut them from the script entirely for a leaner affair. That being said they brought some of the funniest lines and the movie wouldn't be the same without them. Nice video!

That thing you mentioned about Tobey, here's a fun fact. In Brazil, the same voice actor who dubbed Tobey Maguire in the Raimi movies dubs Peter in this movie. So, in a way, Brazilians got the original spiderman actor as Peter Parker here.

I love how much HiTops Films values personality, passion, and the beauty of the art in movies.

Even if Noir, Peni and Porker aren't really NEEDED I would NOT, EVER, dare take them out. They help emphasize the message (You could wear the mask). It shows how different you can be from Peter, you could be an anime futuristic girl, a noir, dark hero or even a fucking pig. YOU CAN BE A HERO because what makes you different, it's what makes you Spider-man.

One of my favorite things that ITSV flipped the script on was the whole "Young kid needs a father figure despite having a good father figure already" thing: Miles didn't need a father figure in the form of Peter B. Parker, Peter B. Parker needed a son figure.
