I really hope they add one in NWH. Both the Raimi and TASM Spider Sense sounds did such an amazing job making things feel so much more urgent, which is such a big part of the Spider Sense.

Fun fact: In the first scene, none of that was cgi. Tobey actually had to balance all of those perfectly and somehow he did

If anyone wants to know what spidey sense is like, just imagine Superhot VR. It's almost exactly like that. Time sort of slows down enough so you can get out of the way. That also explains how spider-man moves so fast. He's seeing it as moving in slow motion,while everyone else sees it as extremely fast

All the spider sense don’t work the same in the movies Tobey’s body auto reacts and he dosen’t need to focus to avoid danger Tom and Andrew can easily be caught off guard and when they use spider sense they do not auto move

I like each's sound effects! 0:41 Tobey's is like sharp metal scraping 2:40 Andrew is more ambient and layered like wind chimes Tom's I don't think they had one until NWH in that intense Spidey sense sequence but according to memory it sounds like a siren.

0:26 to me this nails the spider sense perfectly. In that moment Peter is aware of all of his surroundings down to the smallest detail. I can’t imagine not going crazy with that kind of awareness

Tobey Maguire's Spider-Sense sounds like a sword being unsheated but in slow motion. While Andrew Garfield's sounds like a glass being broken and Tom Holland is like deaf by an explosion.

Tom and Andrew can’t sense Bananas and Bread but Tobey can sense a tray of food and a girl falling, neither of which are a threat

Sam Raimi truly understood the spidey-sense, each scene with Tobey is a delight with the elevated visual and audio cues

The one with Mary Jane about to kiss him is my favourite one 🔥🔥

I know that they tried different sound effects on the other movies to make it different, but the string sounds in the tobey movies are PERFECT to represent the spidey-sense, the sound is exactly was a tingle in the back of the neck, like shivers up your spine would sound like

I think he has the weakest for now, he can sense that he was gonna turn to dust is not a good example bcoz he already saw starlord and others got dusted so even a normal person can feel it too same thing with ebony maws space ship he sense it with far distance bcoz it was a very big threat and obvious even tony a normal human sense it, in NWH he didnt sense norman personality change he sense that someone will do something dangerous just like every other spider sense so its pretty normal

I learned from the animated series from Disney XD that spider sense doesn’t work when it comes to Venom. When I heard that it made total sense in the third spider man movie when MJ said “look out” when Venom was coming. And how Peter was hearing him but he couldn’t sense him later in the battle.

Too bad the movie didnt say anything about it or even hint at it. It just expects you to know but then again they let spidey get hit by almost anything anyway

I think this is one of the best powers anyone can have but it's especially great for any hero. The ability to sense danger allows the hero to avoid it and stop it. This power also helps him dodge projectiles and melee attacks making him less likely to get hurt

that one raimi scene is so cool where he's like aware of everything

I disagree. Andrew does, we see in the first TASM that Andrew’s Spider sense can talk control of his body to dodge or counter a threat for him, without him having to consciously do anything.(that’s shown in the train scene where he falls asleep and is woken up by a guy putting a beer bottle on his head). In TASM 2 it’s also clear that his spider sense can tell him not to be in a certain area because when Electro was blasting his lightning, Peter seemingly knew where to be and where not to be.

the best are the car dodge (something Tom would get smacked by) and the gun scene for Tom (not the action as it was basic as hell but the sound design and punchiness of that shot are great.

Each one of them had a problem honing their spidey sense. And all of them involved personal trauma in some way. And all of them involve overcoming them in tremendous fashion. All the spiders, from Tobey, to the spidey verse, they all have the same upbringing. Makes you wonder, is Tom Holland’s spider-man going to get in multiversal trouble in NWH?

Miles’s spidey sense is so strong I think he would’ve webbed the venom on the ground. In the movies it seems to be very powerful helps him with his parents and stuff

Those spider sense scenes kinda remind me of those cutscenes that play before assassination missions in Assassin's Creed Unity

Ah yes, at the beginning of the film, when he was talking to Gwen by sticking to that car and then he saw her father, it felt like his Spidey Sense was tingling. And at the final battle against Electro, when he saw Gwen's father again, you can hear the Spidey Sense sound effect!
