Yeah true I was stuck on him for months when I was younger but, I'm currently replaying the game and I beat Kraven my first try for both the fight against him. I was insanely surprised then I beat kingpin after just 2-3 times for the first fight and I beat him in 1 try for the second fight.

I really like Rhino’s boss fight, all the destruction and debris, made it feel like you were fighting a force of nature.

These were the toughest bosses I had to face in this game back then and I had to fight harder than anyone ever could🎮.

I remember how OP the Black Suit was, with the Widow Maker combo you could fill most of the rage bar

The ground shaking from Rhino is brilliant plus the Sandman's entire body that could let anything go through him without getting hurt because of the sand

Venoms death in this honestly confused me Couldn’t the Symbiote just find another host? And doesn’t the Symbiote heal it’s host so impacts like this wouldn’t be lethal? I am so confused!

Or maybe because when venom died, eddie died too, without a host the symbiote is too weak to find the perfect host so it must've crawled off and died slowly

Best thing about this game where the amount of villains and boss fights. I've played It so many times, always for the boss battles, It wasn't perfect, but It was cool enough for Spider-Man fans. Kraven, super Lizard and Rhino where probably the hardest. But my favorites where Sandman, Kingpin and Scorpion. PS: It's fun how these games from the Raimi trilogy had a continuity of it's own. In Spider-Man 2 the events of the first game were aknowledged by Shocker and an easter egg of Vulture. On this third one, there is a reference to Mysterio in a Daily Bugle mission and the fact that Spider-Man already knew Kraven goes back to the Xbox version of the game from the first movie which had Kraven as an exclusive boss. Scorpion and Rhino just seem like loose ends, but nothing in this game deny their appearences on the previous ones.

I only wish we got a Black Cat easter egg/reference or something to tie into the previous game. I think it's weird how after the Shocker fight in Spider-Man 2 where Cat helps out she just disappears and is never seen or heard from again, and the Spider-Man 3 game just doesn't acknowledge her. Would have been cool if she showed up to help with one of the 3 gang storylines, she could have fit in fighting against the Arsenic Candy gang or the Dragon Tails since that one was a heist and that's right up Felicia's alley.

I have a very exclusive opinion here. I think this game had the best Spider-Man bosses up to then. You’re basically equal as long as you understand the spider sense, the length is good, it’s easy to understand, and the music is stupendous! My only issue to this day are the lightning quick QTE’s. Only WOS and 2018 got Spider-Man QTE’s correct. Although it’s extremely satisfying to get them right in this game

This game, with all its unpretentiousness and some obsolescence, is perhaps even better than the film itself. If remastered today, I would go through again. Still, whatever one may say, the period from 2007 to 2014 was the golden age of video games, after that everything went downhill.

That’s exactly what I was wondering with Vulture from the cancelled Spider-Man 4 since we fought him in the Spider-Man 1 movie game. And I guess same with Rhino, Mysterio and Shocker who would’ve just been in a montage in Spider-Man 4 but we’ve fought all 3 of them throughout all three games. I also assume Lizard would’ve eventually appeared in the films.

That happened with the iron man games. In the first game you fight whiplash who is one of the villains in the second movie. They got around it by having the second game set “after” the iron man 2 movie.

When i was a kid about 6 or 7 (it was the first game i ever played on ps3) it took me about an hour to get pass the button mashing bit because i wasnt strong enough and then the boss fight made me want to throw my tv out the window so i cried for about 10 minutes and never played again

Loved this game when I was younger the combat was awesome just overall a great game 👍

This game, despite it actually being not that good, holds a special place in my heart as the first videogame I have ever played.

I love this game it's a masterpiece. Most of the boss fights were hard like Kraven, The Lizard, kingpin and Sandman. The rest were easy. I still enjoyed playing the game They actually did good with the pc playstation 3 & xbox 360 version. The playstation 2, Psp and Wii versions suck.

It sucks that we never got Lizard since Dr. Connors appears in Spiderman 2 and 3. That's probably why he was the main villain in The Amazing Spiderman.

I really liked this game as a kid but all I can remember are the narrarator, the lizards, the 2nd lizard fight and kraven saying he wants something with spidermans throat

Boi the QTE(s) of the New Goblin boss fight were my favorite. Back in the days I played it, I kept failing them on purpose just to see what happens. Good ol' days.

h h Eddie could survive if the symbiote healed him like in other media, however we never see this Venom heal from anything severe so I guess it’s possible this version of the symbiote can’t heal Eddie. In the film the only injury we see him heal from was his wrists getting slit by Harry’s razor bats

You know when I was young I never finished the game, I got stuck at the Kingpin boss fight because either him or I would get stuck on walls.

One of my best gaming experiences.

Honestly I really like how all the villains actually look like something that would fit in with the Sam Raimi directed Spiderman Movies... Outside of the human faces at least. Shame that we never got a Spiderman 4 directed by Sam, he really didn't want to add Venom but he was told to and the result was this.

The first Apocalpse game boss fight was really hard for me to compare with other boss fights , when I was a kid
