That makes more sense than them having thermal vision because in the Kraven fight we can't see him while Peter has the Symbiote.

another cool detail similar to the webline physic: if you try to slingshot while standing on top of a moving train, the momentum from the train will break your webs and cancel your slingshot.

Symbiotes aren't resistant to fire. In the lore, fire is one of the other weakness of the symbiote, but I'm guessing they decided that it wouldn't be fun since quite a number of enemy types use fire offense or there's a lot of situations where the player is in fire environments. Also I think to the story, since Kraven uses weaknesses to fight his enemy, both fire and sonic weaknesses would allow him to completely decimate the symbiote.

Actually, the symbiote sometimes have different invulnerabilities depending on the universe. So in insomniacs universe, they have everything else and immunity to fire.

Can confirm you don't need the suit tech for higher spider jump. I also found it best to simply do 5 flips after 2 sets of jump and dash (if that makes sense). I also learned that the multiplier can go as high as x201, maybe more if I didn't mess up

Can confirm that this method still works. I didn’t understand it at first when he said spam triangle but yes while doing air tricks repeatedly pressing triangle will regenerate the dash and jump faster. To make this mostly automatic go to settings>controls>toggles>air trick mode>toggle-maintain. It will make it so that whenever you press square once in the air you’ll always do air tricks whenever you’re not pressing something else. It makes it so all you have to do is spam triangle and the dash and jump. Also you don’t need to have the suit tech that increases jump and dash height for this. You can do this as long as you have the skills in the skill tree. That’s all.

Haha when I ran into the symbiotes, I kept throwing them in the water. It's funny watching them melt into humans.

that animation doesn’t only come with the programmable matter suit, it can also be triggered with the family business suit as well.

I... completely overlooked the ground slam. That would have helped a LOT during my playthrough! Thanks, I'll practice it next time!

I never did it (also forgot about it lol) but the concussion blast does the same thing. You can't use it as much, but it's really effective.

Im not sure if this has been patched or not, but if you slow down the game speed during a hawk chase, it should download at the same speed it would at normal game speed

Symbiote sense you through spider sense because Venom was fused to Peter for a bit even has a red spider sense if you press R3 during the mission "don't be scared"

The horizontal loop de loop is so satisfying I found it as soon as I unlocked corner swinging because I used it next to a water tower.

While mid-air after a web swing, if you hold square, X but before hitting the grown press and hold R2 to web swing again. You’ll build crazy speed and height quickly.

I am absolutely praying miles or Peter gets to use the carnage symbiote but I know that won’t happen maybe we will at least get to play as carnage when the dlc comes he needs a ton of abilities

Can the xp glitch be done withhout the active spider. Also, the directions on which how to do it are a bit confusing to me. Trying to spam triangle while doing the tricks is rather difficult.

Actually instead of rolling forward over and over (terrible strat) do a forward backflip then pull back and to a backflip. Then REPEAT. BUT ONLY WORKS WITH PETER. Go back and forth up and down up down with your lefts stick. Do this until your air abilities are ready to go and its a guranteed 400+ Dont do the air tricks in the video. Hes barely getting xp with those frontflips. Im on my 3rd playthrough on ULTIMATE i just finished the sandman mission and im already lvl 60 lmaoo too easy too easy AIR TRICKS ARE THE WAY TO LVL UP

This guy just took this footage from someone else and the footage is from early release. He only put a catchy title to it. It's too bad Insomniac had to go so woke and inject politics all throughout their video games. In particularly the Spider-Man franchise. If it wasn't for the Spider-Man name Insomniac wouldn't be doing so well. Maybe they should consider separating their politics and entertainment. Ratchet & Clank barely got over a million in sales and that was when the PS5 really didn't have all that much to represent the new console. I think of Spider-Man wasn't so woke it might sell twice as many. I know this is the last time I'm buying a Spider-Man IP from them. I can get politics from my news I don't want it in my entertainment. Beyond that the game's really not that good. The combat is similar you're spending skill points on the same skills you did the last game. They couldn't even come up with some better skills for you to invest in and leave you with some skills you had previously. On top of that they are so woke they had to turn NJ into a superhero so it's not just some white dude and we had to have a non-white Spider-Man LOL this is crazy what politics are doing. There are so many amazing non-white superheroes they could be investing in but instead they're so creatively bankrupt they just turn another white superhero into whatever they feel at the moment is popular. Look at the way Final Fantasy 7 remake did their game. They represented but it felt organic and it was part of the game. Spider-Man just pushes it and it feels forced. I don't know it's just a shame politics have to get injected into everything when it comes to entertainment now. Luckily I've been getting into pool and other things. Video games are going in a direction I'm not willing to spend money on
