I’m pretty sure they made it more red in the remaster, and are just carrying it over. Still, it looks nicer than the original.

Aside from the arms, which I totally agree with you on, the new suit is actually amazing. The colors have been massively upgraded as well as it feeling more slick.

I think the tentacles are just a suit variant for the new symbiotic mechanics. Kinda like adding the arm upgrade in the first insomniac Spiderman game. which for Hot Toys would be an easy figure to make without risking too much or showing too much.

I don't think the arms are a MAIN THING for peter's combat in Spider-Man 2... they're bassically going to be something for the L1 super attacks, and for what we're seeing, the L1 attacks are able to be super customizable. So i see these these arms as an option. Well, i hope so... i truly hope they have some super attacks that are bassically based around peter's acrobatic and webbing combat prowess because he's been a Spider-Man that never had electric or other weird based powers to fight crime. Another way to deferentiate peter from miles is how more SKILLFUL he is when it comes to his combat. But we shall see.

I love the Advanced Suit mk 2! definitely an upgrade imo the colors are better with the darker red and lighter blue and the slight design upgrades, just not a huge fan of the arms either, I hope we dont have to use them a lot as like a main gameplay feature💯 I'm loving these stream clips and discussions Chris!

@@handlebarsmustacheyeah, like after Peter let’s go of the symbiote which had the tendrils, and fights crime as regular ol'Spidey, he will feel that something is missing and then he makes the four Spider legs

I get why they did it they did it for 2 reasons 1) They did it cus people are saying Miles is more fun to play as cus he has more powers and cool animations but I don't care about giving Peter more gadgets to try to keep up with Miles he's already cool cus he's the original and he's funny and no one is better than him at that 2) They also did it cus the symbiote gives you so much more power when you through it away it will feel like a big downgrade so they are also giving you the mechanical arms to replace the symbiote abilities but again I don't care if it feels like a dawn grade that's the all point in the symbiote it's meant to feel like a downgrade when you give it up I hope they give us the option to take them off cus it dosnt feel like Spider-Man with them on it feels like a random suit he would where once but it doesn't feel like normal Spider-Man gameplay

Why wouldn't they it's not like they make a toy where it's just on forever or are you talking about the video game. But game wise it still is spiderman if anything this makes more sesne he is a spider why not give him arms in his basic suit

What i like about the arms is that they’re a combination of the two previous villains, they’re controlled using a perfected version of Doc Ock’s neural interface that negates the side effects, and they’re made out of Tinkerer’s nanotech

Nah the reason he's gonna need those arms is for VENOM

the arms are in the first game and in the miles game with certain suits such as the iron spider suit and are fun to use.

I like how the arms have the same color as his webs feels like an extension of that

I am not a fan of the mechanical arms unless it is for the iron spider suit, and even then I feel like it is kind of a gimmick

I’m not a big fan of the mechanical arms, it works for the iron spider and superior Spider-Man but for his regular suit kinda throws me off but I’m still hyped for the game

How? if anything normal spiderman should always have this it add more to his character attacks and arsenal and it makes sesne the arms shouldn't be exclusive to iron spider it quite literally make sense for his normal suit not to mention the paint job on it just makes it even more better and well suited for his basic suit

I was so worried about the blue and how light it looked. Im glad theyre keeping it that nice dark blue

Apparently insomniac said that you will be able to change colors for the accessories like the gliding webs and the arms

yo chris i was like meh on the spider-arms when i actually saw it was silvery white( i legit thought it was red with silver accents) but from a gameplay point of view, Pete is gonna be broken as spidey when the symbiote leaves him so ig it is logical for him to build those arms but again i hope insomniac makes it minimalistic like just for takedowns and stuff. Oh superior spiderman is defo be Spider-Man 3 as they clearly stated otto's dying body in the first game

I like the new suit because it is way more red and the arms. I do not like them that much, but the symbiote suit looks fire Can't wait for the game

@@DowntownguyIt makes sense to me, Peter helped to make Doc Ock’s arms in this universe, so he could’ve picked up his research, perfected the interface so that it didn’t make him go crazy, and used them to keep up with Miles’ powers, also, he could’ve used Tinkerer’s nanotech to enable the arms to retract into the suit

And it doesn't matter if you never used the spider arms with the advanced suit these are new arms and will give new ways to do things in combat it won't be like the spider as in the first game they will do more. Having the new suit have legs is random correct doesn't make it bad tho

Yeah Spider-Man 2099 always has a cape

The Advance Suit 2.0 is probably Peter's answer to the Venom Symbiote. I'm guessing he built the legs to fight off the symbiotes tentacles that we saw in the footage. They'll probably have sound and electric attachments to the legs to weaken the symbiote in the final boss fight so that's my in-game lore explanation for the Waldoes.

The reason why he had the arms is because Peter had the symboite. It gave him the extra limbs and tenticles. Once he loses the suit he doesn’t have access to the limbs. He made the arms to make up for the black suit since he got so use to it. It’s meant to replace the extra powers from the black suit

I've seen leaked concept art/ storyboard art of Peter trying to save Harry from the symbiote, Green Goblin (Norman) attacking Miles at his school, Mysterio will be one of the final bosses (it'll be on the statue of liberty), and Carnage will be in a DLC.

Think the arms work and they always will design wise it looks good as well the white legs bleeds well with the white spider emblem too much red it’s the color choice is spot on I don’t see those legs being red

HARD DISAGREE. the legs feel like a extension on spiderman I mean we've had what 50+ years of the same Spidey so it's fine to mix it up. And his mentor was ock in the game so it make sense for him to learn off his tech. Besides I love legs on spiderman. Civil war superior

With the Arms I'm 50/50 but looking at it without the arms it looks freaking amazing

I guess they gave Peter the arms so they can be a replacement whenever we’re not playing with the Black Suit. Also they have no excuse to not add the Superior Spider-Man suit in this game now.

They could want to do a game or DLC story with Superior Spidey. That would explain it not being in the last two games or this new one.

The mechanical arms are probably what he’ll be utilizing once or at some point in the story he rejects the symbiote and loses it along with those abilities he had with it. this is demonstrated by the showcase demo, is the when the tendrils from his back sprouts out four larger ones, with the exception of some smaller tinier ones. so most likely an ability replacement.

That theory you have is a good ass theory that makes perfect sense 🙌🏽 It might be spoils tho since🤣it could be true as well but it's fun to hear these theories, I think venom will be harry at first (ofcourse) then latches on to peter then the 3rd since I think there will be a 3rd person to have it will be Eddie but Ig I just want it to be Eddie at some point, but that Norman theory makes more sense than it being Eddie tbh

@@skittless9993 It could end up that way, yeah. If Bryan Intihar wasn't lying, it's not going to be anyone we've seen wear the Venom Symbiotic before, so it won't be Eddie, or Harry. I think it'll be Kraven. I know that might sound crazy, but even though he has worn the symbiotic before, he was mad, and it was only briefly, not to mention that it was outside the mainline comics. I think it's the most likely option after Harry Osborn and Eddie Brock.

I think the arms actually work really well given the context of this specific universe. Plus it would make for a good gameplay mechanic.

I hate the iron spider arms with a burning passion I’m never using them when the game comes out it’s the only thing I dislike about the second advanced suit

I like the suit i think they should be gold

tbh the new suit is way better then the old one

The mechanical arms look so out of place, and they should’ve just gave him the iron spider suit

The arms are so tacky but the stupid comic book community is probably going to eat it up because “wow cool tech arms!!!”
