The Spider-Phoenix costume looks badass af. Maybe cause I’m such a huge fan of Jean Grey and the Phoenix costume is so good looking. Mixed with Spidey powers it’s no wonder it’s takes no damage ;)

I agree.

Love Enter Electro. IMO it's a MASSIVELY underrated and underappreciated sequel. Developer Vicarious Visions (Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2, X-Men Legends II Rise Of Apocalypse, Ultimate Spider-Man) did a great job with it and improved on tons of stuff from part 1. Better graphics, better character models, street levels, more combos, new web based attacks and powers, more/new suits to unlock, more variety in the missions, all new line up of villains to take on (Shocker, Sandman, Beetle, Hammerhead, Lizard & Electro), boss battles took a bit more thinking to defeat, the Create A Spider mode was much better, etc. I also like the contrast of how the majority of part 1 takes place during the day and the majority of part 2 takes place during dusk/night. The sequel definitely deserves more recognition.

There's a lot of bits that make it really cool, but I remember finding it more frustrating or tiring than the first game when I got back to the pair a few years back, to the point I didn't get halfway. In truth, I can't remember what exactly caused that (other than the airplane boss being a bit annoying), so maybe I should go back to it.

you can unlock all costumes doing all these things: -complete in normal 2 times in a row doing this unlocks all costumes from the previous game except symbiote spiderman -complete smoke screen with more than 3 minutes in the bomb doing this unlocks negative zone spiderman. -beat spidey vs electro to unlock battle damaged spiderman -beat the game on normal to unlock earth-x venom costume -beat the game on kid mode to unlock alex ross - white costume -beat the game on easy to unlock symbiote spider man -on training mode do the attack challenge and beat 75 thugs to unlock prodigy -on hard complete Spidey vs Lizard By doing nothing but throw antidote webbing in lizard -on hard complete spidey vs sandman again to unlock alex ross red costume -beat the game on hard to unlock spider-phoenix that´s how you unlock them all, enjoy your day

Spider-Phoenix and Captain Universe is both Gods of Spidey.

i like captain universe and the black suit

Just wish we could play as the bosses in this game, like shocker and electro, or mysterio somehow.

This Spider-Man game part 1 and part 2 need a Remastered.

I remember playing this game after getting middle school and Venom 2 Earth X was my favourite suit. I still have this game but I don't play it for so many years.

Because the insulated suit shields from electric attacks not sand attacks. Just saying it wasn't good representation for the suit

+FridayBoredom I understand what you're talking about. But, the only representation I was really trying to show for it was the enhanced strength which is why I fought Sandman as that battle is rather slow without it. Other than that, the insulated suit still takes damage from electric attacks just like all the other suits. Except, the suit lessens the damage by a little bit which is why I didn't fight electro in the first place as there wasn't a big difference when it came to electrical attacks.

Hearing Spider-Man say "don't look down" is weird. I mean he jumps from the highest buildings and here he's afraid of heights

man i remember as a kid i used to be able to keep all of these super powers like the higher jump and extra swings while also using the original Spidy outfit, can’t remember how i did that but vaguely remember the powers…

Thanks for this video I loved and played the crap out of this and the 1St one. It's funny I noticed one of the costumes here is the default costume skin when you pick up an armor power up in #1. Does the 2ND one have unlockable comic covers with back story like #1?. I noticed you never used the 2 different grab attacks on a single enemy. Press square and X together to grab then either press square to sit on enemy shoulders and press square consecutively for each punch to head. The other vaults them with both feet good for throwing off buildings or into other enemies. Wonder if I can find these games for a cheap price now a days?

The white Alex Ross costume is actually different to the Armored Spidey. Armored Spidey is just a regular Spidey costume with white instead of red, and the Alex Ross one has a different design.

In Spider-Man 2 Enter Electro there's something called Create a Spider, you can add the Unlimited Webbing to his game powers.

I don't remember. Maybe select or something. It's easy to figure out by just pressing all the buttons and he'll turn invisible.

But it sure did have a good costume selection, and graphics + combat. and some levels I liked, but overall, it just didn't get used right, and it was pretty lackluster. Shoulda just had Neversoft do their job. I think if Neversoft did this game it would have been 20x better But it was a good game in some ways. (also nice vid and yes I did reply to myself because I'm on mobile and I'm too lazy to go to google plus to edit my comment.

noodles Free roam doesn't always equal a better game. A lot of open world games suffer from incredibly repetitive missions making it pretty pointless. Vicarious Vision's still did a great job with it and improved on aspects of the 1st part. The levels are bigger in this game, they added street levels this time and there more variety in the objectives. As for the story, while it's definitely stronger in the 1st part, being more straight forward isn't a bad thing at times. Overall it's a very underrated and underappreciated sequel.
