Sami thanks for a great video for a newbie like myself using these kinds of machines is giving me the confidence theres not a huge learning curb for what i need to do...engraving on wood thanks mate will check out your other videos..

Good review. I love the idea of the portability. Just can't think of a practical reason to give up the functionality and versatility of a regular engraver.. Yeah, its compact, but you still need a frame for certain jobs, so it's really going to take up even more room. What about serviceability and upgrades on parts? Can you easily maintain it or is it going in the trash as soon as something needs replaced?

How come camera doesn't work on Spider M-1

what is the max speed? for engraving?

what settings did you use for stainless steel? I used a laser pecker 2 on stainless but it never worked

How long did the large engravings take like the owl

I think it's about 6 or 8 hours... I waited for 5 hours I guess and then I got too tired and left the camera in timelapse mode anyway

would like to get it but not for almost 3 thousand dollars, no way, not when can get a laser for under 500$

Stuff looks OK from a distance, when you get close details look splotchy. Thanks for the video, I know I made the right decision to pass on this one

Hmmm, I've reviewed the Mr. Carve M1, it has the best result on any metal without any jagged lines for its engravings and I haven't seen ANY portable laser engravers that can compete with it... I mean, if you have to compare the Spider M1 with those galvanometer laser engravers, the Spider M1 loses its battle... but here if we talk about infinite engraving (especially on wood), usability, portability, and even the price, I think the Spider M1 stands out from the crowd. I was not even considering doing a review for this Spider M1 at first (I own too many laser engravers), but when they brought one sample to my studio and showed me the results... and that changed my mind...

wow always a Debbie Downer...seen so many negative or disheartening messages about this project...all the ones calling it a scam etc called for more detailed video's so here you got a new video and you still put the machine down...me i am new to laser engraving and cutters for the price and what i need it to do is fantastic...

I really like this laser but everything I have seen or read says it is a scam……

Tyvok lasers suck big time, not just because they dont preform like announced but mainly because of its client support. Things come from china and every replacement you need to do, will cost you! Alot of headaches because of the Customs and import taxes. About the infinity engraving, not like advertised either, If it is a simple one pass engrave, it will do it but the biger it is, the less accurate will be, the machine looses steps with big dimensions, the fact that it is running on wheels and not on rails also contributes to this. I had to restart alot of projects because it got stuck midway for some reason. Buy a better brand laser, this is trowing money away !
