I love sweet and spicy chicken wings! I decided to wing (no pun intended) this recipe, and these came out so good. These were the perfect amount of spicy for me, which probably means that they’re not super spicy (lol). You can add more gochujang or add sriracha to make them even more spicy!
INGREDIENTS
- 2.5 lbs chicken wings
- Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper to taste
Flour breading:
- ¼ cup of flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Sauce:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 inch ginger
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp water (or more to thin out sauce)
- 3 tbsp gochujang sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 scallions
