Spicy Galbi Jjim Recipe (Korean Short Ribs) // 매운 갈비찜 레시피
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Today’s recipe is spicy Korean braised short ribs, or galbi jjim! These ribs are boiled in a sweet, savory, garlicky sauce and they come out so flavorful, tender and juicy. A lot of restaurants these days add cheese to their galbi jjim, so I decided to recreate that at home as well! Hope you give it a try! Thank youuuu! I doubled this recipe 🤤. The only thing I did different was not adding the full amount of red pepper flakes (4 tbsp instead of 6) because I have some kids that don’t want it too spicy. Also, I couldn’t let the korean radish from boiling part go to waste so that was added towards the end since it was tender already with a ton of rice cakes (kids favorite). I will definitely be doing this again with the full amount of red pepper flakes for me & those who love spicy.
Looks so good and very easy to follow! The cheese in the end makes it extra appealing!

The cheese pull is the best part!! Plus it goes so well with the spicy
This looks amazing. I don’t even like cheese like that, but even the cheese here looks great. 🤤 I’m going to attempt to make this. I hope it looks as good as yours. Wish me luck!
Just made this recently and it came out delicious! This was a great video, easy to follow and wasn't hard to make at all.

Cheese goes so well with so many Korean dishes 😋♥️♥️
Good to see Mango back in a video! Food looks real tasty too. Do you ever use a slow cooker for these?

HAHA I’ve been trying to get him to cooperate but it’s definitely still a learning process. I don’t actually have a slow cooker, but I’ve seen a lot of people use one with great results! 😋
Dduk and cheese are the best toppings for anything spicy 🤤🤤🤤

Thank you~💚❤️
Recipe look delicious, I'm just wondering how tender the ribs are after only 1 hour of cooking??? I'd like to try this recipe. Thx for sharing.
What was the 6th ingredient that was put into the blender? Kutchikado? Sorry for the ignorance. I was in LA recently and had galbi jjim at sun nong dan and it changed my life! Most amazing flavors I have ever tasted! Trying to replicate and this is the closer look I’ve seen so far.

The cooking time is only 1 hour, and there is a 30 minute resting time! I think all together about 1.5 - 2 hours ♥️♥️
