She'll rep Jamaica all day everyday, but when Black Americans want to be specific about our ethnicity, suddenly it's always "we're all black".

That’s a valid point I’m non fba and can agree to that think it’s all about mutual respect especially towards those who pave the way to making our experience in America less difficult to what it use to be for melanated people salute

@@JasonEdwards12 so?
She just told the truth about other cultures (whether it be across the pond, Caribbean, African, Latin/South America) & their mindset when it comes to Black Americans when she referenced 2020-GeorgeFloyd-BLM …Black American s accept everybody, hence why we fought for birth right citizenship in the 1960s BUT MOST of them don’t have that camaraderie for Black Americans, that’s why there’s a growing “de-lineation” movement; a lot of the melanated ppl of the diaspora identify with their oppressor, calling themselves “Englishmen” or “Frenchmen” or “I not Black, I Dominican (insert other Caribbean nations in the CariCom)” or other derogatory terms such as “Acata” & “Gerer”(spellcheck)

Focus on Black joy not trauma bonding .
If she doesn't like the separation, and nationality doesn't matter, then why does she rep Jamaica?

She suppose to. It’s her heritage

What is she supposed to do? Think about it. Should she just say she's black? Should she cosplay Black American? Some Black Americans say "Black" is only reserved for them. If she says she's Jamaican, some people will complain that she's separating herself. It's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. Her accent will give her away anyway.
