Walking into the throne room you hear the door lock behind you

I like to think that Moldath kept coming back in an attempt to convince Obok to end his isolation and come home. Makes it more fun and tragic.

You have to set them to specific stockpiles or they won't use them. It defaults to 0 so increase the number of wheelbarrows for that stockpile and voila.

Now I want to make a cat lady playthrough. Like this, but with a lot of cats.

How dark was that 😂 Moldath was probably sent by the Queen herself to go check on Obok after his entire caravan came back to the mountain home. After reporting back that he seemed to be doing well but appeared to dwell on the departure of his friends, Moldath vowed to visit once a year just to make sure Obok knew everyone still cared for him. This kindness couldn’t stand up to the Malevolent God guiding his actions. When Obok’s God thirsted for blood, poor Moldath was there for her annual visit. RIP

Honestly, I also just mine to the heat and hope my dorfs don't get incinerated. I've lost like 6 miners in my current fort btw lmao. One of them actually not only survived a reptile spearman ambush, but she successfully killed 3 of them. Only to be encased in obsidian a few short years later. She has a slab next to the statue we made of her killing the reptile ppl. A true hero of the working class, Rigoth was.

When I was born I imagine that my parents would wish that I never experienced "lonely mountain". But here I am. I guess the universe just sucks sometimes.

So the moral of the story is: Don't pressure a hermit into trading?

This channel is criminally underrated. I just binge watched most of your videos and they are fantastic. Bite sized, well edited, greatly narrated and very creative. I really hope you get the subscribers and views you deserve soon you are one of the best dwarf fortress content creatorsI have found in all of youtube.

The armor issue I believe can be fixed by selecting “armor replaces clothing” instead of “worn over clothing”

This is I think the most intreasting DF play I've watched. It's a crying shame that the dwarf doesn't seem to be able to be happy in these conditions. Fair enough of course, but still. 😂 It looks like a combination of Fortress and Adventure mode, and a ton of fun. I think I'll try something like it, but with a population cap of around 7.

love how Obok is "depression-prone".

The reason that he does not keep the armour on is because they have a uniform for each job they are assigned. It becomes very obvious when it's only one person and they are a military person with multiple roles.

I really love Dwarf Fortress but I don't like how the time flies in the game. In Rimworld the day and night circle makes much more sense.

If i remember correctly, in the top right corner of each dorfs character sheet, near the follow camera button, is an expel from fort button.
