4pc crimson is best, if you run him in his best team (melt/vape) but 4pc glad or 2pc 2pc works fine!

I go for the artifacts if I get a character that I never farmed any artifacts for (like Kokomi or geo units), but others stick with their 10 crit value artifacts and atk goblets, whatever lmao

@@Arania_3.14 I just spend mine on either character/weapon levelling stuff if I happen to get a new one or I do the XP leylines. After spending resin I end up just roaming around the entire map picking flowers and mining ores that I don't need as I like the scenery, and beating up hilichurls. I'm hoping we get another huge world quest soon like the Aranara quest, loved that.

Same here~ I only do artifact domains when I feel like it and stopped caring about the stats. I mostly just spend resin on upgrading my characters now. Seeing all of them even the 4* at lvl 80-90 actually felt like I'm making progress with my account instead of getting stuck with artifact farming. I know I'm not going to use all of these characters but it still felt like I accomplished something and that was fun for me

Hey Nobiles!, im through the mid of the video, and i wanted to share a little of information regarding diluc's build. As you know, he is used a lot with xingqiu because he can vape. HOWEVER, in this challenge you dont have acces to good vape, nor consistent melt, so 4 pieces crimson witch is a lot worse because you can't activate reactions consistently (Besides, Diluc in with XQ/Yelan can only vape around 40%-60% of his dmg due to ICD) For that reason, playing him with 2 pieces crimson + 2 pieces atk is your best bet, and you should focus on getting atk, crit, and energy recharge as substats (since you dont have bennett to funnel him) Normally, the best artifact for prototype archaic are EM/Pyro%/Crit, because you start suffering "diminishing return" in you atk But you can't melt/vape, so ATK/Pyro%/Crit should do the trick. Hope in can help you and i'm looking forward for more episodes of the series

agreed! I run a claymores only acc also (although not as stringent on the requirements, I'll cheat a bit to get through puzzles if I have to, just only claymores in abyss). I found that I can barely get reactions off of chongyun as Diluc's pyro infusion, skill, and burst provide too much pyro for chongyun to keep up. Instead, I built chongyun as a nuke support with em/cryo/crit and just used his burst to melt off of diluc instead of the other way around. Diluc on the other hand runs a noblesse/atk set with atk/pyro/crit cuz he's not getting any reactions lol.

maybe 4 crimson witch could work in an overload team with beidou it could deal a lot especially since overload dmg is boosted by 40% instead of the 15% for vape/melt that could make a rather good AoE team i guess

just adding on but you dont need energy recharge on diluc since he has a 40 cost burst and generates particles pretty often!

Nope. Even if CW isn't as great for reactions as it normally would be, it's still the better set for the ramping skill damage.

I think since you can't use Xingqiu, your best support for Diluc would be Chongyun so you can melt your elemental skill and initial hit of burst I personally would've done something like Itto/Noelle/Dori/Beidou and Diluc/Chongyun/Sayu/Xinyan

with the new artefact box its not that bad. Its much more efficient to do Dendro or Inazuma artefacts that give 2 good sets and all the trash goes to witch set in artefatc box. No Lavawalker whatsoever XD

my diluc still has 36/130 crit help me he still does good damage with the guaranteed upgrades though, c3, 9/13/10, r3 wgs, level 90 in case you couldn't tell I love diluc not as much as lumine though, shes on her way to dendro triple crown and hopefully in less than 2 years more aquilas will come home and then more after that for r5 (lumine) and for my 3am physical build (kazuha)

@@muffinman_4 haha. nice joke. in month and a half I got my Diluc to 88/136 crit with protype from artefact box only. So there is no way your CV is so low. Still the only 5 star free weapon I wanted was WGS but so far after a year I got only MFGS(mid finger great sword)

maaaan i understand the slow and painful descent into insanity after spending so much resin on an artifact domain and the strongbox. your diluc build is already so solid, congrats!!! if you're taking suggestions, i recommend sticking with archaic over the blackcliff because the ideal ATK for diluc is above 2k. :D

When you use Diluc, you want to ult then attack - > E - > attack - > E and so on It works better with water boy, yes, but it also makes Diluc attack faster His ult costs 40 so its pretty cheap and you almost can spam it after his Es The witch set it better for reaction so unless you planning on using Diluc with Chongqyun ( cryo infused attack - e - attack - so on), you can go for 2 piece pyro + 2 piece attack

4 piece also gives Pyro DMG bonas after using e thrice. So even without rxns cwof is his bis.

blackcliff slasher is a pretty good diluc f2p weapon, but if u ever decide to buy the bp, the serpent spine is a pretty solid choice! also to use diluc i use ult and then use his pyro infused attacks, but i dont think im the only one that does that, prob most ppl do it lol

You're right , u use his q then use aa with the Pyro infusion.

Actually you can run him on the crit dmg hat with the crit rate if you even land one crit rate and that will skyrocket silica damage

You can use Chongyun's infuse (before Diluc bursts) to melt his Es with normal attacks going first before each E press then end with burst after you use Sayu to shred pyro res.

Yeah Crimson Witch is the best for him, you want: Sands: ATK% or Elemental Mastery Goblet: Pyro Dmg Bonus Circlet: Crit Rate / Crit DMg For the substats you want: Crit dmg, crit rate, ATK%, elemental mastery. This series is pretty enjoyable, keep up the good work.

Even though you don't have great artifacts for 4pc crimson, I think it's still better than 2pc crimson and 2pc atk. Even though you don't have vape/melt or even burgeon, you still get a ton of pyro damage bonus, as this artifact set is basically tailored for diluc, and you since can stack pyro damage from using his E skill I still think it's the best.

READ THIS BRO Dont buy the blackcliff slasher, you cannot use bennet on this account to make up for the lack of attack on it, its gives crit dmg which makes it look better but its really gonna be about as good (if not worse) than the archaic. Save your starglitter.

I remember doing this Domain for Hu Tao but never getting a good piece, so I ended up giving her the Shimenawa set because I had all good pieces when I did the Domain for someone else. I was happy to know that luckily other people used that set on her and apparently it work however I still will switch it eventually when I'm going to farm the artifacts for Diluc now that I found him, but I'm scared XD

I don't mind lol the Prototype is a F2P Gravestone I believe and if you want more elemental reactions the Rain slasher I think is good for EM I have my Diluc on 4 piece gladiator and Wolvesgrave (little flex on the gravestone lol '^^) Mainly because I hate farming the crimson domain and that's how I build the majority of my characters ( they are spoiled in my mind lol )

Your on set Pyro goblet was still pretty good, it was on set and Pyro damage percent, every roll could've been flat defense and it'd still be pretty good.

Spent weeks artifact grinding for ganyu, and the best piece I have is a crit damage circlet with 16% crit rate substat (with flat attack, EM, and energy recharge).

I can feel the pain in this, I spent over 1k resin and got absolutely nothing, it was before the strongbox (by a few days) so I definitely regretted it, he has 2.4k atk and 50:100 crit. pain fr as a Diluc main

seeing artifact-induced malding will never get old for me lol -- i was like that once, but once you realize it doesn't actually matter if you can get those last 2-3 abyss stars, your life gets infinitely better :D

If you're not gonna use reactions, lava walker's gonna best your best diluc 4 set lol, kinda like how Klee runs it in mono pyro. Otherwise, can't go wrong with 2-2.

noblies i wouldn't suggest using 4piece crimson since the 4pc relies on vaporize or melt and you don't have something like a xingqiu so you'd be better with 4 pc glad or 2piece attack and 2piece crimson

I've been doing the thunder soother farming (forgot the name of the artifact set I want but in the same domain.) Ive been using Diluc for this set. Randomly did a ten pull on weapon and got Cynos pole arm, happy but I only have 4 5 star weapons and one of them are skyward pride lol so I would have been happy with jade spear. Good luck everyone.

You simply just won the lottery if you get dmg bonus goblet of the same set already, especially with crit stats! So congratulations on this hahahaha

If youre still doing this challenge you should try diluc + chongyun team where you use chongyun element skill and then switch to diluc and do auto attacks with elemental skill inbetween and you will melt each time. Its good with crimson witch

if you have no banners to pull try pulling the weapon banner pretty solid weapons there such as the unforged wgs and pines

I'm sure it's been said multiple times but EM isn't terrible for diluc, especially with Chongyun in the team. Melt diluc with an EM sands and Prototype Archaic is very solid. You'd do chongyun's E, then go to diluc and do E > NA x2 > E > NA x2 > E > NA x2 > Q. Although it doesn't work very well if you have blackcliff cause that forced you to use an attack sands. If you're willing to spend, then you should way go for the serpent spine instead.

It hurts me to see people start their farming session by making 1000+ resin and stopping natural resin replenishment for essentially the whole time they're farming. But I guess for those who let their resin cap every so often it may not matter that much.

I saw some comments about his artifacts, and yeh, true, 4p crimson is kinda bad with this challenge since there isnt a claymore xingqiu, or just a hydro claymore in general. But anyways, yeh 2p CW, and 2p atk can be great 2nd option, but kinda worse because of prototype archaic, diminishing returns and all that, but maybe you could consider 2p emblem, because not only do you not get xingqiu for vape, you also dont have bennett for battery, so yeh, all things considered. And not to mention, you could potentially go 2p atk, but with sac greatsword, to just combo his e string and do lots more e damage, which is super fun and not actually bad for this, by no means. And yeh, chongyun would also be his best teammate, but only because them he can be the one to benefit from melt reaction, as you can just nuke with his burst. Edit: also, i do want to say, having an atk goblet or circlet, not both can be decent too, coz again, its only diminishing returns when you have too much of it. But since you don't hav alot of atk buffers, having those pieces if you get good rolls on them can be better than one with the substat you want but trash rolls

actually, I dont think you need blackcliff for diluc, you already have a decent ratio of crit and a good amount of atk was thinking about diluc, chongyun noblesse, sayu with 4vv and xinyan (??? for the shield ig)

You could use 2p crimson, 2p noblesse/2p emblem 4p crimson / 4p gladiator I hope this could help you after using resin :') I just got diluc and raised him to 60. He' s got 1,7k attack with 2 pc gladiator cause im farming loll Goodluck!!
