Never seen mini photo frames on a tree before, such a lovely idea. Your tree and decorations are cool. I have minimal decorations which I put up on winter solstice eve, and I take them down 4 weeks later. Yes, Christmas can be triggering. I found Christmas 2011 extremely difficult as my Dad died that year, he loved the celebrations. Also my best friend abandoned me not long after the funeral. My now best friend was my rock at that time. At Christmas I had a meltdown, was diagnosed with generalised anxiety disorder & agoraphobia, and was signed off work for 3 months. Been on medication ever since. This Christmas will be the first one without my uncle. My now best friend is like a sister to me, she's wonderful. Rest up and wishing you well. Xx

Hey m'love, thank you for taking us with you through this week. I'm glad you're able to process the complexities of this season - I know a lot of people do find it difficult. I'm lucky in that Christmas is a good time for us but we keep it quiet & relaxed - just Hubby & me. We decorate in mid Nov so we can celebrate early Family Christmas with my dad when he visits, and they'll stay up until Valentine's day here LOL! We started leaving them up later during lockdown and we find it keeps the house cheery through the dreary Jan/Feb days. Re:Sims - I used to play Sims Castaway which was great fun but my laptop can't deal with modern Sims! I play Stardew Valley though, and have recently discovered Sherlock Hidden Objects which I'm really enjoying x

I love Sherlock hidden objects such a fun game! My computer copes with the Sims just about I love it. I'm trying to learn to embrace the good moments and to let the hard moments go xx

There seem to be so many bugs going around 😕- you did exactly the right thing taking extra rest when needed! Your Christmas/Yuletide decorations look lovely. I enjoy putting my favourite ornaments on the tree, as some belonged to my Mum so they are special, but Christmas can be triggering for me too Bev, so I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed at this time of year. I hope your weekend is restful too and your health continues to improve, take care ❤🎄
