Hi Regina, they are not really clay pot it’s those orange things you get from boats and ships 🛥️ to help them float when they are on the shore. My Dad thought they could be used as clay pots so my cousin just cut a whole in them, vanished them to look like iiyuma and do the drawings 😂😂 And they work because they are plastic so meme won’t have to worry us out us breaking her pots I will see when I get home if there is still some so I send you 🙏🏾

To soften it especially if you are using the liver that was frozen. It also helps remove odor if you don’t like the sting smell of liver. Soak it for 30-60 min at least before cooking. If you can time and you are extra you can as well remove the membrane
