I think what Heidi forgets is that Jason actually had legitimate issues with addiction and that his past toxic behavior was heavily influenced by his substance abuse and alcoholism, whereas Heidi didn’t have any of those issues-same with Spencer-and instead chose her manipulative boyfriend over her friendship and imo at least, no doubt had a part in perpetuating those rumors about Lauren and Jason. It’s always annoying when people dog on Lauren for being too harsh with Spencer when he and Jason were NEVER in the same league. Jason was self destructive, Spencer was just destructive. I think people forget that Lauren was forgiving a man who legit changed and cleaned up his life which is healthy-not hypocritical-since Spencer and Heidi clearly never changed.

Heidis personality did a.complete flip when she got with Spencer.

I had a soft spot for Jason and I think he really did care for Lauren, but he had a lot of other things going on and got really caught up in the whole scene. I’m glad he’s sober and had made a good life for himself. I think that if timing was better for Jason and Lauren things could have been different. Happy that Lauren got her happily ever after though!

I think it has something to do with the fact that pink/red lights hides all “flaws” like cellulites etc. Dita Von Teese has talked about how she has pink lights in her shows and house because of this.

Red lights make you sleepy. Exposure to blue-wave lighting a few hours before bed can make it hard to sleep. That's what "blue blocker" glasses are all about now. If this was the reason, Lauren was ahead of her time.

Pretty sure Jason and Lauren did have their own little private tape and probably told Heidi when they were friends, then Heidi shared that info with Spencer and he used it to his advantage. It kind of adds up with all the conversations and Lauren never really denies it. Back then it was a “shocking thing” today we’d all be like, “So what?”

I just turned 28, and I remember seeing this when it came out, and even way back then my mate and I were cringing over how immature Spencer and Heidi were 🤣

Lauren has always been the “Star”..even back during her Laguna Beach days. Many will be jealous and envious of the star because they know they never will be in that same spotlight in their lives

That dumb little head dance Jason did randomly pops into my consciousness to this day. Lauren's tongue on teeth smile as well. Epic show.

Idk if I would say abusive per say. But certainly toxic absolutely. He’s an alcoholic/addict watch episodes of Laguna Beach and S1 of The Hills. Its very obvious to see which times he’s clearly on something. Never thought he was a bad guy but immature young guy who had a lot of issues that led to his addiction.
