Ming fucked up by having the key on him. But speedy fucked up even more by telling Ming and 4head’s crew and expecting them to just take it all back gracefully. You don’t just rob a mfer’s house key, then tell them you robbed it and get away with it peacefully. People forget Ming and 4head are vet crim characters and any ego they have is just natural. If speedy wants back this random guy, then that’s his choice, but expecting Ming and 4head to just roll over is just plain dumb.

Speedy knows what's up. In 3.0 he was carrying a fake meth lab key around specifically so he could see who would be willing to steal it. I wouldn't have even asked for the 20k for keys, I would have demanded Speedy give them his key for 20 minutes and trust that they didn't make a copy.

Ming shouldn't do crime solo. Speedy shouldn't have returned the stuff. They wouldn't have known who robbed ming then and they would have had to pay the 20k anyways. Edit: They keep saying that speedy has known the guy for a month, but they forget they haven't seen each other in 5 years, this os the problem with people not acting like time has passed

I liek speedy but hes in the wrong here. They have to put all their faith thatdeebo is not lying to speedy, so everything they work at for weeks or even months can just get stolen in an instant because speedy says the guy can be trusted? but the guy can be lying . Giving the stuff back benefits speedy, because he looks like the good guy in all of this, and like he can be trusted so obviously hed give it back to keep thatr relationship rather than having to deal with a war. The guys that got robbed get their stuff back but jnow have to risk everything with speedys word? the solution is obviously the guy that stole the key pay for the lock and keys. But speedy saying no to this is sus, its not speedys money hes defending this random guy like its his own money on the line.

They seems oblivious to the message; had Speedy not returned it, the robber would have remained unknown, leaving them to shoulder the 20k burden. Now, as a favor, he returns it. So, accept it gracefully-what other option do you have? He could have robbed their homes, and then what could they have done?

But the issue is lets say he did make a copy of the key, he could then just wait a couple weeks till they let their guard down and rob their entire house while they a sleep. So him returning the key is a mute point since they have to change the key no matter what. But 20k is a bit over kill, maybe just make him pay for replacing the lock and a key.

The funny part is, when you steal a key you should not let your victim walk to have a chance to get into the house. On the other hand Ming having the key on him is also stupid.

Doing crime solo with a key is a level of dumb that is unheard of. Say he didn't get robbed but the weed guy pulled a gun and shot him and downed him when the cops show for the shots fired they would search him see the drugs and key and raid the house and cost them everything.
