The critically acclaimed sequel to the last speedrun, now clocking a (hopefully) Impressive 23:45, AND now featuring no edited Flagship, rendering it a proper vanilla speedrun (Apologies for my past error). NOTE: My game still technically Is modified, but only sound files: Russian and English voice libraries swapped, and shot choreograph / reloading sounds directly removed. Otherwise this is a normal copy of 1.15

Must be an incredible feeling seeing the enemy take your most strategic position virtually unannounced, then threatening to nuke him only to be met with him nuking you into submission instead

too bad I missed lol. Honestly that strat needs an autoclicker but thatd make it TAS which is... Ehh.
Imagine being the crew of that last fleet. Nuked five times.

6:35 is this luck or you somehow did something to trigger this 100% all the time ?

just luck, but it didnt have any major effect on the run in the end. Its practically guaranteed some kind of event will happen on the city stop.
How did you get R-3Ns? Aren't they unable to be gotten in vanilla?

@@temmie9430 eh, I’ve brought and used them, but their usage shines in headshotting typhoons so nuclear is far more suited to them. Strike groups and tac groups are better off hit by x-15 anyways

For a fresh install run it’s invalid sure, but no speedrun of such exists. I’ve considered doing one but really it’s not like you’re going to do anything besides build an optimal, preordained and planned ship that has a balance between its build time and performance. It would do nothing except add a set amount of time on top of a run where most speed runs are over in the first minuite. Iirc this or the other attempt took like an hour to achieve

@clankplusm y'know, it might be some fun trying to speedrun the game with just vanilla ship. It would certainly be slower than this, but it would still pretty cool
