The link for the pipes doesn't match the thingiverse page shown in the video and the industrial silo link leads to a 404 error. Is there any way you could update the links?

Ummm... why am I only seeing this now? And why is this not flooding YT. Awesome tips my friend! Well done!!!
The "Down Your Up and Up Your Downs" made that look amazing. It really sells the realism
This is a really helpful and effective guide to starting out with terrain for 40k tenth edition! Very few videos cover the making, the painting and the purpose of each type of terrain. Great job!

Great example of taking different pieces and painting them with some consistent and complementary colors to make a table full of terrain
Great video! Really useful and concise, I'll definitely be back to watch this a lot!
Pretty cool techniques here . Love the rust effects !

Gluing like 3 filliment spools into a tower would be cool. Maybe 3d print some railings and walkways/staiwells
I really like those pipes. They look great. The hairspray technique is way cool. Way. "Gouache, the best paint that I still can't spell." : ) Kudos on the 'coming out of the coffee cup' shot. Nice. Cool video my friend!

Hello from Terrain4Print, nice paint jobs dude! I gotta check out those gouache paints. Like oil wash but with water.
That gauche wash is AMAZING

You're amazing Barron!
Really enjoyable video thank you. What's that jade paint you use? The coverage and brightness looks absolutely nuclear. Also how do you feel about all the lines on the plastic printed terrain - do they annoy you or are you not bothered by them? Thank you!
@CCMinis
9 ай бұрын
Pro-acryl Jade, its a wonderful color. And no, the lines don't bother me too much especially for terrain
Inspiring video! Do you think it matters if you use cheap vs good quality gouache? I learned the hard way that cheap oil paints can be a bit gritty for oil washes. 😬
@CCMinis
9 ай бұрын
Nah grittyness just adds to this technique - it is a "dirty" oil alternative. Don't go into it expecting it to be as smooth and the cheap stuff works just fine. The set I use now costs ~$12 for 24 paints
Oof getting a fat layer shift there at 0:10 lol
Do you print any miniature armies, I would like to get into tabletop myself and was wondering about settings or upgrades you use for them?
@CCMinis

Go resin for the armies - FDM just can't do the detail needed
Awesome!
What are those last building you printed? Would dig a link to them.
One of the best terrain kits I consider GW ever sold was the original Aegis defense line. I'm still salty about GW getting rid of it.
Great vid.

down your ups and up your downs is now going to live rent free in my head right next door to wet the dry's and dry the wets.
What layer height did you use? It may just be the zooming in, but those layer lines seem horrendous. Probably looks decent off camera though.
