I have a cannon idea that some nightwings can get powers from a luner eclipse and not just the moons, that’s where my OC, eclipse came from

so i usually start with the expression lines for the top and bottom of the eyes and then shape the sketch with going over it and erasing bits to get a better shape

tarantula is named after a spider but they're ref is a blue carpenter bee,,,, confuse

No, pretty sure they're named Tarantula after the Tarantula hawk wasp and that's what the reference is, I know I'm super late though, sorry

These are all great except for Tarantula, because HiveWings can’t be blue without being a hybrid. They’re only BARELY canonically green, but only if they’re yellow-green. They can’t be blue. I’m sorry but it just bothers me when people make purebred characters with outlandish colours which aren’t canon to the tribe.

THANK YOU- the canon colors of the dragons, as said in the books, is "red, yellow, and/r orange, but always mixed with some black scales" the black scales are only from Clearsight when she mated with the BeatleWings
